It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I have the same problem. I think it stems from the fact that the XMAS event is over and therefore the mystery boxes are gone. The tickets are now worthless. E 👀 A👀 are real 💩 heads. They could have at least left the doughnut exchange available until the end of the day. They didn’t even give the players that lost 7 to 8 days of no game participation due to their laziness.
When they put out the game update. They didn’t bother to code it so that older models of Kindle and other game systems where unable to support the huge Xmas event download.
The strange thing is that I had over 7 mbps more then enough to run the game.

I just checked one of my games, under Currency (the donut icon next to Homer Budda) I have a mystery box tokens for 12 and ticket for 3. Strange because I thought I used all my tickets.
I have a question about Zero-Clops Thirty Pt. 1. I got the Wippop’s Station in one of the boxes (not during the event it was in) and unlocked his small questline. I have Capture Wiggops as a quest but there is no option to do anything to it, the first quest is Done (Reach level 12 and place bart’s treehouse). I tried tapping Wiggops with no luck, I don’t know if it’s a glitch or if I am missing something to complete it.
Howdy gang! I have a Klondike area question.
When it unlocked, it said you could upgrade…something…up to 1,000 donuts. I completed the bridge, and have been slowly unlocking each block every 2 days or so. Does it take that long for everyone? Also, in the store area, am I the only person missing the Klondike button?

You have completed the Bridge that connects Springfield Heights to the Land Expansion (North Frontier) …. you did the tutorial regarding the Shack that generates Land Deeds …. and now you have to decide how to unlock Land Tiles (generate Land Deeds and send Characters to Task OR spend lots of 🍩’s).
I only unlocked half of what’s available, because I am taking my time (some Tappers unlocked everything for 10,000 🍩’s, you decide what works best for you (remember there is no wrong or right way to play this Game App so long as you are having fun). 😉👍🏻

Looking for another game like TSTO to play. Does anybody know if the Futurama and Family Guy games are still being supported with new content? I stopped playing both a while ago.
I seem to recall something happening to the company that developed the Futurama game like 2-3 years ago and wonder if that game’s dead, but hopefully I’m wrong about that because IMO it was a pretty good game!

Thanks Alissa! I’ll start following that page now too. I lost all of my Family Guy progress and quit that game for reasons I can’t recall anymore. So I’ll start from scratch.
The Futurama game stopped being updated around 2019. No real customers support either. I had high hopes for that game. It became tedious to play with no chance to advance. It became increasingly expensive also. The characters would reach a certain level, and that was it unless you made more in-game purchases of the game currency pizza slices. The game would charge you for a piece of pizza if you didn’t play the game every 24hrs. Which meant that you had to make the game part of your daily routine, or you’d forfeit the money.
I spent a lot of time and money playing that game. After a while, I gave up on it and deleted it. It could have been a fun game if it had been set up like TSTO is.
I would really like it if we could buy holiday house facades for holidays other the Christmas to put in our Springfields.
Like valentines day, Saint Patrick’s day, Easter, fourth of July, presidents day, holloleeen Thanksgiving.
They don’t all have to have lights on them, but it would be fun to decorate like folks do in real life for these holidays with our homes in Springfield.
Anyway, I finished the event, I love the warehouse, it fits in nicely with my Christmas items I didn’t have a place for, go’s really well with the flake blaster too.
I loved this event overall, can’t believe herb tried to kill Santa lol.

Currently working on the warehouse and the sleigh race is in full swing, because you know, competing to replace Santa on January 9th-Why not EA? I’m really hoping the warehouse is the final prize because it does something cool, I’d really love it if it worked like an alternative inventory and I could actually store all my Christmas decorations separately in there. That would be amazing.
Didn’t really care for the whodunit story line and dialogue, I thought it was rather weak. Some good premium questline dialogue though. I liked the update prizes.
Big fan of the gift cards, I had 5 unique items in that box and really like that it switched to free non-unique items, or if you preferred, could trade them in for donuts. Good job EA. I didn’t really play the Pagan Christmas so I was able to pick up a lot of content I missed. Also happy for more ice tiles and Christmas fencing,.
I picked up the Mr. Plow plow even though it was definitely a missed opportunity to have Homer have a visual task for it. Too classic for me to not want it in my Springfield.

I’m in the PNW, so while it’s nice and sunny today where I live [we were snowed in day after Christmas], just a couple hours away mountain passes are closed and others are flooded. I have 4 transporters
Alpha, Omega, Theta, Zeta
Alpha is Homers house, home base.
Omega is by “New Canada”, prospector cabin, generating land tokens. And such
Theta is by my donut generators – every 12 hours they pop out 6 donuts each. A reminder to GO THERE.
Zeta is by my “current event” location. Christmas Town under the current event.
Figure it’s an easy way to go “there”
Yeah, bit how often do you really need to get to Homer’s house? I keep one of my four by the unemployment office, because I used that at least twice a day to send hundreds of characters on their tasks.
Yeah, I don’t ‘need’ to get to Homer’s house, but the game drops me there when I start.
Unemployment is a good choice too.
What is the name of the other donut generator? I know I have them both and I know one is the Lard Lad Donut Factory, but for the life of me I can’t remember the other one and I can’t find it! Thanks

The Costmo store generates donuts at the same rate as the donut factory.
My transporter spots: finger of god (24 hour collect), theater (generate statues for cars), XP collider (usually with rocket), fish cannery (for rails) with submarine (for tiles) and current prize area location (this time the cabin for land).
Quick question for everybody — does anybody know all the characters that can fly sleds?
I have a sled corner of my town, and I enjoyed getting to do the Santa race at the end of Act 4. But it looked like I had a few sleds unused, so I wasn’t sure if I was missing any tasks or characters. Thanks!

(You will not taste the difference, but then again Generations have been eating fake butter called margarine since the late 60’s)
I will give that plant-based 🍗 a try from KFC (this is coming from someone who uses almond or oat based milk, but still enjoy that shamrock shake seasonally from February to March – lol!) 😉👍🏻
