It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Hello! I bought the Rocket Launch Pad from the Red Alert store and it didn’t come wthi the minigame! I can’t play the Rocket Launch minigame! Is that intended or is it glitched?
My kindle died halfway through the Christmas event and I missed out on the ending while a new kindle (with more internal storage, hallelujah) worked its slow way to me. THANK YOU, Addicts, for the dialogue recaps. At least I was able to finish the story!
There’s no sign of the event removal, getting fed up with looking at santa with his head in the snow, time to remove and move on its nearly spring
While I agree it’s time to remove Santa, mid-January is not “nearly Spring”! Here in the Northeast, at least, we’ve just entered to the worst of Winter, which is usually early January through early March, But, yes.,, I’m surprised they haven’t had an event takedown update, but I figure they’re waiting for the next mini event, which might start tomorrow, or, if not, maybe next Wednesday.
Probably see an app store update today. So enjoy the snow while it lasts 🙂
got the app store update… went to the game.. is downloaded and updated but the snow was still there. Got the new splash screen with no snow..So maybe then they do another game update and a possible mini event .. this will all change.
Very use to snow.. as I look out my window every day and that is all I see. so having it is Springfield. is really no big deal LOL
I actually wouldn’t have minded losing the snow in my Springfield, as it makes decorating so much harder! (I’d also be happy to never get more than an inch of snow again IRL…. I don’t mind the cold, but I’d love to never have to shovel snow again! (I don’t mind a light dusting, though, to make things pretty.)

I have exactly the same problem. Only building left is King Toot’s and it is greyed out. I have the guided truffle and Dewey Largo. Says I need the We don’t sell my iPods 2 task started. I have no idea what to do.
Check to make sure that you have the person for that task available.. and that they don’t have a companion character that has to be with them. Some tasks have two people.. if the second person for the task is on something else then that task won’t be available
I waste my life with TSTO and I love it! Hahaha There’s just one thing I wish you would put in the Yearbook Mystery Box – the Jedediah Statue. I sold it for $$ way back and then obtained Jessica Lovejoy. I have tickled Homer several times but I simply cannot get the statue back. So, now JL just hangs out in my task book because she needs Jedediah to complete a task. Please help out with this. I’m sure to pay dearly with donuts! Thank you. Have a great year.
S. Guaniro I’ve seen a number of players asking about the Jebediah statue so you’re not alone! Hopefully EA will bring it back for all of you.
It’s not clear to me if you’re making that request here for the TSTOA crew or just expressing an overall wish among all the Tappers here.
Just to clarify, TSTOA has no control over the game mechanics or content; the only place that does is EA. If you want to prod EA to make Jedediah available for players again, post on the official TSTO pages on Facebook, Twitter and see if the EA Forum Game Discussion already has a Wishlist thread where you could add this request to the thread. Hay I just got to level 300 and I was just wondering when do I complete the Simpson family mountain I know I could look it up but I would to ask a question so other people can see too and I have the broken Character groundskeeper wilma how do I fix her I have talked to ea but the people I get are not helping.

Relax, because there’s no new Episode of The Simpsons until next month (I get the feeling that I’m not the only one that binge watches once enough Episodes become available) and it’s probably going to be in Mini Event this month (10 years is a loooong time to be available as a Mobile Game App!)
I keep having fun, I still find this Android glitch dumb, thanks to BlueStacks I can still play on laptop (but I can’t see myself doing this for the rest of 2022 so EA quit being L-EA-Z-Y and fix the Game App!)

So, I was thinking, or hoping really, that with the 10 “year” anniversary of tsto that e a might either update or add some form of the ” year” book mystery box for our game.
In hindsight they did at one point get rid of the hommer budah a long time ago only to implement the year book mystery box afterwards.
So it’s not unheard of an definitely possible.
An we do have alot of different mystery box types within the game itself, we got ones just for decorations an character only ones too.
An there’s alot of content that’s come out that’s not currently in the year book mystery box we have in game.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if did do something to that regard, ok maybe a little lol.
I just wanted to say that 2021 was a great year (Tapped Out wise at least) and I’m very excited for 2022! Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
I hope it’s crazy Vaclav place of automobiles and the Cooders (a nice carnival minievent with one as a free character and the other premium with a carnival attraction + a visual task “through hoola hop over chimney) are all i really need ahah 😀

Can anyone tell me what buildings have the finale collection replays, I see the old town we just got with the expansion of heights area, and monte burns casino. Any others? thanks
The only other building with the finale collections that I remember at the moment is the Museum of Super Fine Arts from the Springfield jobs event.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone has a great day. I’m reading Sharpe’s Assassin by Bernard Cornwell. It’s a historical novel that’s part of a series on Richard Sharpe, a British soldier during the Napoleonic Wars. Anybody else a reader out there? Name what you’re reading or a favorite book you’ve read.

Is there a complete list anywhere of tasks-by-location? So, the Brown House would have a zillion, but, say, the Springfield Airport would have many fewer. I’ve looked at the Wiki (https://simpsonstappedout.fandom.com/wiki/), and some of the entries (like Spiffany’s) have tasks listed (under “Jobs Involved”), but others (such as the Airport) do not.
Of course, that’s a Wiki, so it might depend on reader input, in which case gaps are inevitable.
How do I get King Toot’s to unlock? I am level 939, only have one task left that is assigned, Tipsy Turvy Pt. 6, which says build King Toot’s, but the building is greyed out, saying I need “We Don’t Sell myPods, pt 2”

What do you mean by “finale collection replays”? I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking…
Buildings have short skits to watch
That’s odd…I don’t remember seeing any of those. Maybe I’m still not understanding. I’ve seen some characters who do a little extra thing when you correct their task, and I’ve seen buildings that have animations when in use, but not sure I’ve ever noticed any buildings that have “short sketches.”
I think we are refering here to various sketches available once an event was completed, the Wild West event was one I think.
Yes, I don’t any buildings left to get (except duplicates). Even have everything in yearbook. But King Toot’s is locked.
Do you have the premium character “Dewey Largo” unlocked?
I believe that’s how I unlocked King Toot’s back in 2014…
Yes, I have Dewey Largo unlocked. Since I started last June, I have leveled up to 939, emptied out the Yearbook and gotten most available characters and buildings. Right now, because no event is going on, I can only get duplicate buildings (I.e. brown house, White House, kem, krusty burger, etc..). No characters are in the menu’s. Just King Toot’s remains locked and the tasks will not start. I am on my second round of EA help desk for this issue.
Hi. You need to go back and make Lisa play the sax 3 times. Then make sure she’s free and King Toots should be available worked for me.
