I’m actually kind of underwhelmed with this event. It’s nice to get an extra character, but the decorations are just going to end up in my storage.
Anyone else having to keep re downloading the latest update. Had to do it and least 6/7 times keeps logging me out as well

I had a similar problem–which I was unable to completely solve but changing to another device I got things working again. As someone else here reminded me at the time, it may be that it’s a RAM problem (working memory) as opposed to storage memory. I had a 4GB RAM device and about 1 GB was free, which I would think would have been enough, but when I reduced the number of apps loaded in memory and doing background work, and significantly reduced the size of my not-that-big town, the game improved. But not that much; it didn’t get back to normal until I switched to a faster device (and then I could put my town back out). I’m not sure if it was just the RAM, size of town, perhaps a hardware issue, or a glitch in my game file (I used to play sometimes on a much slower device, and I wonder if there is a governor on the file to keep the game from crashing like it did in the old days).

I have 70+GB of free space, I’ve shut down and restarted, but I’m experiencing lag time – especially clearing Event related tasks.

I think it may be related to my being over the limit of items in my town? Have to redesign and eliminate non essentials

I fill like patty an Salma, Lenny an Carl, sn rodd an Todd are under utilized in general, so any chance to see any of them involved in a invrnt to me, is a instant win!!
I like the story so far, I justvunlocked Joe, G I JOE!! GO JOE!! I really like his building alot too.
