Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The circus has arrived in Springfield! Well…three of them have arrived! Looking for a freak show? The Burnsum and Bailey Circus is here! Traditional circus? Ding-A-Ling Bros at your service! Feeling fancy? Then Cirque de Puree is for you. But which one will rein supreme? It’s up to you to find out in the latest event in TSTO…Cirque du Springfield!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on March 16th. However, Act 4 will start on March 8th (note the Tuesday start date)
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Wiggum, the Circque Ringmaster, CBG, Lisa, Sideshow Mel, and Skinner…
Wiggum: *chants* We want lions! We want lions!
Cirque De Puree Ringmaster: We have no lions.
CBG: But you’re a circus!
Cirque De Puree Ringmaster : No. We are a cirque.
Wiggum: I don’t know what cirque means.
Cirque De Puree Ringmaster: Neither do we. We just know everyone who works here does so willingly, and animals cannot make a choice.
Lisa: Finally…a cultural awakening is happening in Springfield.
Sideshow Mel: Just wait until Mr. Teeny finds out!
Skinner: Just wait until the class guinea pig finds out!
This triggers the Act 3 questline, A Class Tact and is followed by 4hr tasks for Lisa, Wiggum, Krusty, Skinner, and CBG, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (115). A Class Tact is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…
Here’s the Act 3 Synopsis from EA:
Cirque de Puree wows Springfield in a hurry while also declaring that it’s wrong to exploit animals for
profit. This triggers a cultural awakening in Springfield wherein many of its citizens begin to realize that they’ve been treating their animals horribly. Lisa is so impressed with the new cirque that she decides to quit the Ding-A-Ling Bros. Circus and join them.Meanwhile, Marge decides to check in on Bart over at Burnsum and Bailey and learns that Bart has been
promoted to the head of freak show. Her enthusiasm is short lived, however, when she discovers that
Homer has left Bart there all alone while he checks out the cirque that everyone is talking about. Marge
is then forced to work at the Burnsum and Bailey Circus in order to keep an eye on Bart.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the A Class Tact questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.
Characters earn:
5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

I ❤️ the Premium Character Combo (Carnival Camp and Human Donkey!)
I got Prize No. 1 – Circus Cannon (Decor) / Prize No. 2 – Hall Of Mirrors (Building) …. and that’s all I care for! I get it, this is lampooning Cirque du Soleil (the only one I cared for here in Las Vegas – Zumanity! – got canceled!), I find their shows boring so … yeah the rest of Act 3 doesn’t interest Me (that’s okay there’s Content for Krustyland and my Circus 🎪 Freaks Section!) 🤷🏼♂️

I love the Burnsom & Bailey content as well! I’m sure EA didn’t plan to release this the same time as Nightmare Alley, but it couldn’t be more perfect. TW: nightmare alley deals with real horrors of early circus freak show life, mesmerism, childhood neglect, homelessness and other disturbing content. Watch at your own mental fortitude/peril.
I watched the first 45 minutes and then had to bail…it was well done, but so unpleasant to watch!
Better act than the second one, it seems fun
Is there a bonus % with the Gil deal?
I don’t normally buy Gil deals but bought the train. The engine is parked in my Circus parking lot & the cars make a good addition scattered along the other circus type cars

Would of stored the Engine if it wasn’t tied to the bearded lady ….. will probably find another spot for it eventually
I’m doing something very similar with all my circus train pieces. I put the engine in the train station, I thought about replacing it with the gold engine and trolley but just don’t have enough space in my circus area. I even feel bad that my smoking monkey’s are really close to my Cirque de Puree but space is at a premium and I’m not willing to create a whole new area. Burnsom and Bailey already got their own area thanks to their unique time and color scheme. I’ll have to wait for show off since I don’t really have any photo sharing apps.
Some nice prizes to earn, don’t know why EA didn’t include a track for the train for decoration purposes. 5/10
You can make a track. I don’t know how to post screen shots here, but if you want to be my neighbor, you can take a look. It’s hard to describe as I used the river, roads, dirt, and benches.

I did something similar stress ago when I got the train station, but it’s really annoying when characters end up deciding to sit in one of the bench “tracks”! 🙄

Probably for the same reason they didn’t add tracks for any of the other trains we’ve had over the years – why would you expect them to get it right this time ?!! 🤪
Pity really, I’d far rather have ground-level tracks than the monorail. I do know a lot of you like that but I’m not a fan of the tall stuff.
Yes!!! I was thinking the same thing about needing train tracks. We have several trains, and a train station, in the game, but no tracks! Even if you couldn’t put the trains ON the tracks (which would obviously be ideal), if you could put tracks before and after the train, it would kind of look like the trains were on tracks.
If EA can give us 🚝 Tracks? then you’d think 🚂🚃 Tracks would be an easy code to do ! I dunno, some ideas as brilliant, but EA doesn’t have the TSTO Team like they used to have! 🤷🏼♂️
