Addicts Open Thread

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread!  So, let’s get the conversation going!  Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long.  This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So, here is your Open Thread…..

Some things you may have missed this week around the Addicts Site:

The Simpsons are back tonight with an all-new episode.  What will happen in the new episode? Will you be watching?

Cirque du Springfield Act 4 is live in our games, in fact, it wraps up on Wednesday.  Thoughts on the event? Act 4? What do you think we’ll see next?

How’s your Springfield design coming?  What are you doing with your town? Share some photos in the comments below! (If you need a refresher on how to add photos to the comments check out this post) Springfield Showoff is this week, don’t forget to get those submissions in by Tuesday night!

Any weekend excitement going on in your neck of the woods? Have anything fun planned?

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! (Just no politics, it never ends well)  Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

Have Fun!  And happy Sunday!

  1. The rough out is complete, we only need to OFFICIALLY fill out the forms.
However, as the ‘April 15’ deadline approaches,
this cowboy ditty popped into my head

    🎶The lights burn bright🎶
🎶Late at night 🎶 (clap, clap, clap, clap)
    🎶As I fill out my taxes🎶

No access to the game today?

  3. So, in my humble opinion, Cirque du Springfield wasn’t one of the better events….

But it was definitely a lot better than no event at all.

I’m still looking forward to the next event, though, whatever it is!

    All the best, everyone.

  4. There just isn’t enough to do in this game for late gamers. I’ve been playing this game for years now so donuts are easy to get by just farming blood mobiles. Does anyone else feel this way too?

  5. Song of the day .

    James Taylor

    Your smiling face .

    Hello Gun .
    See ya bye . 👽🖖

  6. Glad I finished early because I been getting a lot of server denied and being kicked off the last few days. The ability to place items and roads/water together is like getting lots more land. Been spending lots of hours redesigning my towns. It like a whole new game. Thanks for the recent post on that. Still don’t know why I get notification of comments on old posts and not new ones so if I haven’t responded to a comment that is why.

  7. Do we know if and when the tunnels to the wilderness will be available again?

  8. Overall this event was okay but not unforgettable especially for non-premium players who could not get a real circus. I am looking forward for the next (mini) event. Happy Sunday.

  9. Day light saving is here…I love the longer evenings! I am getting tired of downloading so often . I removed a fair number of things for my game but I am still having trouble. Hoping that with the new open area, that we would be able to have more things out. At this rate, we won’t be able to develop the new land because we will not be able to put enough things out before we are over what the game will allow. Will this be changed?

  10. I searched the Northward Bound thread but couldn’t find anything about the decorations in the new territory being doubled or tripled, like every set of trees is actually three sets stacked on one another. It seems like it’s been fixed in the land I’ve unlocked more recently, but it’s made clean up a hassle. I’m grateful for more land but having trees, rocks, and bison overlayed on my Springfield Heights has been a mess.

    • I’m not sure, but I think the duplicates in the new land happened if you got fed up waiting and restarted your game. How many you got and for how much of the land depends how impatient you were, but as you head to the more expensive land the closer the game was to finishing setting it all up and less chance of extras – that’s my theory anyway . . .

    • Extra items where a glitch. I have 5 games and it only occurred in two of them and only for the first few columns. One only noticed if when you tried to move an item. I believe those that had 2 or more cabins lost the extra ones.

  11. Happy Sunday everyone
