As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. From time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small, and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
This time around I wanted to see what you’ve done with the Cirque du Springfield stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put anything in Springfield…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always, some of you guys came through!

I like Steger’s Aquarium/Marine World. My aquatic area is scattered between Squidport, the water and Krustyland etc. A neat trick is if you have the resort from Springfield Heights, you can flip the balcony around to make an aquarium affect or put 2 elevators together to make a cylindrical aquarium.

Actually, funny thing is, your picture did show up in the email I got with your comment! (I get an email for every comment anyone makes on this site.) That’s actually the main way I read the comments! Maybe someone else does, too, and can admire my circus-building handiwork. 😉😆

I’m still moving things around. I can’t decide where to put stuff. My poor little brain is stressed out ! 😱 I however, am really glad I bought the Freak Show tent, or whatever it’s called.
I kept wavering through out the whole event. The space I picked to put the circus 🎪 stuff on looked unbalanced. Got it on the last day. LOL. Looks really nice with Burns tent. That’s it. I think I’m gonna take a short nap. LOL

I think only Alissa and Safi can embed nowadays. We readers only get the option to post a link instead, just in case it’s a huge pic that messes up the page . . .
I don’t even think we can do it anymore. I just tried to fix Sandra’s and it didn’t work for me either. I think WordPress is punishing us for using a very old (very old) theme template. But I tried to change it once, a lot of folks wanted me to change it back…and if it ain’t broke why fix it m

I can see it. I admire how organized yours is. I just relocated my Swelldorado hotel and moved the Ding a Ling in next to Cirque du Puree, so it’s kind of just smooshed together.
I was also late submitting my design and am lucky Alissa could squeeze me in there. Unfortunately, it’s an early screen shot of my Burnsum and Bailey circus. I’m distressingly low on frontier fencing so I ended up filling in with cornfields, which worked surprisingly well.

I thought about trying to incorporate the previous Cirque, but I really liked where I had that (it was with some other pink stuff and I liked the floodlights and the space I give it) and didn’t want to make the new circus area any bigger.
I bought a lot of the circus fencing (both the ton you can see in my circus area and a ton more in inventory), but I wish they’d offer a matching gate for every type of fence they offer. I usually just put one segment perpendicular to look like an open gate, but it would be nice to sometimes have a closed one. (Like for this circus, so that random circus-goers don’t just wander into the performers quarters.) I think there are only matching gates for three of the fences we’ve gotten over the years, but I may be forgetting one or two.
