It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Happy Easter! For those that celebrate, I hope you’re having a wonderful day, and for those that don’t, I still hope you’re having a wonderful day! Personally, I’m spending the day with the Little Addicts and our family, as we celebrate Teddy’s first Easter! It’s been a nice relaxing weekend with family!

I know a lot of you are still confused about the Broken Dreams Tokens/Mystery Boxes. I’ll have a post up on this soon…but for now know that it’s not anything to worry about/think about until this event ends. The box won’t appear until this event is finished, and it’ll run BETWEEN events, not during. You can earn tokens now (either via Daily Challenges or via buying donuts), BUT they’ll just be stored for now until this event ends and the box triggers. (no, there’s currently no way to see how many you have) Basically, don’t worry about it until May. 🙂

I logged in today and I lost all my donuts, lost all my new land I mined in Springfield Heights and have a quest that is a repeat of Christmas. Anyone else having this problem?
This happened to me once you need to contact EA.
After getting the Road Monster XXXL, I thought about Snake’s house for placing it. Then I thought, “Hey! Why didn’t we get Lil’ Bandit as a prize?!?”
Hope everyone had a great weekend, I went to the local annual rock and gem show with my brother in law and picked up a really neat thunder egg!
Great weekend for NBA fans….playoffs have begun. I haven’t had any daily tasks yet that provide tokens. I’m hesitant on buying any of the tokens available for 60 donuts…I have no mystery boxes. But if these are the same tokens received by others performing daily tasks, and will be the same used for Broken Dreams…then I should probably purchase some…however, I don’t think it is known how many tokens will be needed for Broken Dreams prizes…so I guess I’ll wait…hopefully I’ll get a daily task that provides these tokens. I’ve even waited until I could close the daily task…but no token or broken dreams task replaces it. Anyway….full day of hoops on my agenda. Happy Easter everyone…..Presidents Day tomorrow…in my neck of the woods…Boston Marathon time.

I’m trying to swap out one Challenge and then pick one to clear each day so I end with 2 left and space for a new one the day after.
Still not had a single Token task, even with 2 towns on the go, but it might help once that Box kicks in perhaps.
I have had a shattered dreams token daily task, it’s a different token, so don’t buy the ones for sale for donuts.

Had my 1st Broken Token pop up as a daily task reward today, as well. Made me wonder how many will be required for prizes. Small decorations like square hedge size may be one, but what for a full character or building?
May become a bit of a grind like Springfield Heights. 😟
… Or like in old events when you needed 1500 pink eggs or bags of fertilizer to get one section of fancy brick wall!!! 🤬
They’re tokens, like Mystery Box tokens. 1 per “open”…don’t freak out about it right now. Just collect what comes to you for now and wait until the box hits when the event is over. Most of the items in it will be returning content (similar to yearbook) with only a few new items available.
If there’s some new stuff in there too then bang goes my theory that I’m not getting Challenges because I’ve got all the Unique items already. Oh well . . . 🤔
Still waiting to get one of those, myself…am I the only one who’s seen no sign of a broken token in their game?
I haven’t gotten one via daily challenges yet myself.
Hi! I love the new event so much! I was always looking for new cars! But I was hoping some of the street issues would be solved with this event. E.g. highway ramps or decent transitions for streets and cobble streets. I would also wish for roads without sidewalks for country roads…

Gosh, I obtained Prize 2 (Billy) and Prize 3 (Renter-Prise Dent-a-Car) on Friday …. barely started Billy’s Side Quest (he’s Voiced, Quest is amusing!) … and rewatched “Gone Boy” (Season 29, Episode 9) to confirm my memory that Dent-a-Car is one of many places where Raphael (“Wise Guy” in our Game App) works at (Tappers should watch it to see how he heckles Homer Simpson!) 😅
It will probably be Tuesday when I Tap again, where I will be happy with what I got …. everyone enjoy their day and enjoy the Game App! 👍🏻
