Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Rev those engines Tappers because Hell on Wheels has arrived! Which car will be the king of the derby? Well, it’s up to you to find out in TSTO’s latest update…Hell on Wheels!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on May 18th. However, Act 4 will start on May 10th (note the Tuesday start date)
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Krusty, Homer, and Cletus…
Homer: Everyone is just staring at me with their I’ve-seen-your-credit-report eyes. I better get out of here. Maybe Krusty will give me a lift home.
Krusty: Sorry, Homer, I’m going to the V.I.P. lounge, so I hope you don’t mind if I ditch you. Actually, it doesn’t matter if you mind, ’cause that’s what I’m doing.
Homer: How am I gonna get home now? I don’t wanna call Marge, and I don’t think Youber drivers accept centavos.
Cletus: Howdy, stranger! You look like you could use a ride.
Homer: Thanks. I’ll just, uh, slide these chicken cages over…
Chicken: BAGAWK!
Homer: Whoa! What’s that about?
Cletus: Chickens ride in front, hitchhikers ride in back. In this here truck, that’s the pecking order.
Homer: Yeah…literally.
Cletus: If y’all are gonna use five-dollar words, you can find another ride.
This triggers the Act 3 questline, The Internet of Wheels and is followed by 4hr tasks for Cletus and Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (115). The Internet of Wheels is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…
Here’s the Act 3 Synopsis from EA:
A forlorn Homer makes his way home when he happens to wander past the CarGo company
headquarters, where their new talking smart car strikes up a conversation with a very confused Homer. When Homer can’t figure out how to scan a QR code to open the car’s doors to take it for a test ride, the company’s young co-CEOs, Antoine and Zora, come down and decide that Homer is the ideal everyman for their new promotion, and they give him the car! Homer is thrilled to receive a new car for free, and he enlists its help in lying to his family about why he couldn’t call them to tell them he was going to be home so late.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into The Internet of Wheels questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event.

8 /4hrs for New Premium

While we’re complaining about how Meh the acts are, I’ve been really excited about old friends coming to visit my town! So I’ve been reciprocating and don’t hit the courthouse clear all button until I see who has been by.
I have a new-item-and-donuts-disappearing act. I bought Gil’s Cars and the CarGo deal yesterday, but when I opened the game today they’ve disappeared along with the donuts I bought them with. Weirdly I didn’t lose progress on the tasks I was doing , it was just the third act offerings that vanished.
I was amused by the Gil deal opening dialogue – it told me what I already know, that a cool car makes you cool 🙂
Well, as much as a 300hp Jaguar can do for a bearded, sandal-wearing retired guy!

Question
Yesterday morning I completed my Daily Task and I think I received a
Broken Token (?)
As a reward.
I had other obligations and moved on. Today, I don’t see it. Don’t see a use for it. Did I dream it?
It won’t be of any use until post-event. You’ll see the tokens you’ve earned at that point.
The CarGo Smart Car is so…so…so…BORING!!! It’s just another version of the Street Cleaner.
Not there yet but very disappointing, I though we would eventually have some character car tasks

Tappers really need to watch the TSTO Addicts YouTube videos, because you put a lot of effort revealing without being too spoiler about it …. I had hopes for an NPC – and I hate them – only to learn my lesson EA is just L-EA-Z-Y!) 🙄

Thanks for the heads up regarding the NPC CarGo (such a shame that EA was L-EA-Z-Y when there was an opportunity to do something clever and funny!)
Oh well I will at least enjoy Prize 3 and Prize 4 (along with the Premium Character Combo) but not bothered to tap for Prize 5. 🙄
Out of curiosity I actually decided to Tap on a Sunday and spend the sprinkles for Act 3’s Premium Character Combo (2 Characters – Antoine and Zora + the CarGo Building!)

_Big Building (they all are) with recycled sounds from Futuristic Content (going back to 2017!)

I have to agree that the majority of the New Content is Crap! There’s little of the New Content that you will want in your Springfield (not worth Grinding, or wasting 🍩’s to expedite for – because it will be in a Mystery Box later!)
At least I am Act 3’s Premium Character Combo (it’s also the only one I have obtained for this Multi Act Event). 🤔

They are just decorations that have some animation when tapped on and no bonus XPs.
I wanted to ask exactly this to be honest with you. But I bought it anyhow because I have done a massive amount of donut farming that Donuts are of little value and at least at some point I might find some decorative places for the cars.
But yeah this is a rather worthless Gil deal without one of them giving a xp Bonus…
