It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I would spend more money to buy Shattered Dream Tokens if I could pick exactly what I want. I only need a few of the items available, but I’m not going to buy a bunch of tokens to get random stuff that won’t work for my Springfield. If I could purchase the item I want I would buy more tokens for sure. Just a wish. Thank you.
Just wondering if people have thoughts on the Shattered Mystery boxes. Only one, maybe two items I’m interested in. I’ll probably take one shot at it. Is everyone getting the same items? I have the Holo bundle, Springfield of tomorrow sign, mutant peacock, bulldozer saurus, anti Gutenberg and the crashed ufo.

Visual Gags have been a significant part of the humour found in The Simpsons since day one … and it’s these Visual Gags I long to see as Visual Character Tasks, as well as Visual Animations on Buildings (and those Decorations which offer up a Visual Character Task).
I thought this article was great, it definitely brings back memories of some of the funniest (cleverest) Visual Gags!

I just realized Tapped Out is 10 years old. I would have thought they’d do something special for that anniversary!
EA didn’t. But we did. We had plenty of special episodes of Addicts Live!
Yup, still reckon I was a stuttering stumbling mess but I think I just about got away with it – they were fun 😊

If the broken token box doesnt open open does that mean there’d nothing for me? Or is there a bug?
I was surprised to see my A town had a couple of items so I can’t be 100% sure about this, but . . ..
I’d suggest you look for the list on here and see if you can be sure you have everything – warning, it’s a big list.
The box is supposed to refill with items you can have multiples of once it’s empty but perhaps if it can’t offer you anything to start with it won’t trigger that refill – because you didn’t claim something to empty it.
Was it you posted as such on the Forum ?? – perhaps post on EA Answers TSTO page and see if the team there can flag it with the developers like they intend to do for the Bundle Glitch

About that Bundle Glitch, feedback from EA –
If you tried to get the No-Helmet Dupree bundle and didn’t get everything could you please add a post on the following thread over at EA Answers . . .

In my alternate/freemium game, I have at least a couple more cycles left to get the last act 4 prize, so no Shattered Box yet.
In my main game (after completing the event), the Shattered Box option opened right away…. and with only three items in the box. After grabbing these three; however, it was refilled with a shed load of “non-unique” items.
It would be interesting, though, if it was coded to only refill once initially emptied.
Not sure if this was addressed, but could this new box, be a sign that the Yearbook will never be re-stocked?
Sorry if someone has already said this- But I was happily using the bug tip you gave Alissa, on how to place vehicles on roads.

I really wish they’d made the destruction derby bleachers 360 like they did with the football bleachers. It’s truly annoying that you can’t have seats on both sides.
Agree. Just like car can only go in two directions. It is like living in town with only one way streets.

Are prices rising in the states too? We thought it was just a UK thing.
It’s been said as of yesterday the factory manufacturing baby formula is back in operation but it will take about 8 weeks to see products at shelves (honestly? the this is annoy we’re looking at Amazon Prime to see what we could send, only to discover those brands on par with Kirkland had shot up to three times the price – we have encouraged others to please file complaints with Amazon because this is price gouging at its worst!) 🙄
They’re 2 weeks away from being up and running. But they worked out a deal with the fda or something to open finally. 8 weeks after they open shelves with see product. So we’re looking at 10 more weeks of this…
