Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Yesterday, an app store update hit our games to remove the Hell on Wheels Event (change the splash screen back to normal). And, today a brand-new mini-event started up in our towns! (as long as you’ve downloaded the update)
You’ll need Marge and Maggie free for 6s tasks to get things started with this event.
This mini-event ends, in 2 weeks, on June 8th.

So the same basic concept for mini-events, in general, applies to this one. Follow a questline, do the tasks, and unlock the prizes associated with it.
The premise of the event starts when you log into Springfield with The Things We Do questline….
Marge: Are you guys excited for a beautiful day in the park?
Lisa: Can’t. Doing a history project on Ancient Greece.
Bart: Can’t. Playing a video game set in Ancient Greece. Eat my toga, Oracle of Delphi!
Marge: Ok, then it’ll be just the three of us! Come on, Maggie!
Maggie: *excited clapping*
Marge: Come on, Santa’s Little Helper!
Santas Little Helper: *excited barking*
Marge: Wait, why is the park gated off?
Park Ranger: Sorry ma’am, Springfield Dog Park’s closed until we can find new housing for the cat lady that just moved in.
Crazy Cat Lady: *angry rambling noises*
Cat: *angry cat noises*
Santas Little Helper: *scared whimpers*
Park Ranger: But you’re in luck, a fancy new dog park just opened over in Waverly Hills.
Marge: That’s great! Thanks, Mr. Park Ranger! Wow, this Waverly Hills Dog Park is amazing — lifeguards with silent whistles only dogs can hear, professional poop picker-uppers… And there’s even automatic tennis ball launchers for fetch!
Maggie: …
Marge: I keep forgetting that you can’t talk — even now as I’m saying this to you…Oh look, Maggie, there’s your friend, Hudson…
Maggie: *happy noises*
Marge: *thinking to herself* Please be with a babysitter and not with his mom. Please be with a babysitter and not with his mom.
Courtney: Hi, Marge.
Marge: And it’s his mom…
And this triggers 6s tasks for both Marge and Maggie.
After you’ve completed the tasks you’ll launch into the When the Bough Breaks mini-event…

Will reappear once you’ve completed this event with new items to “win”. I’ll have a post on the updates to the box up later in the event.
The box will start for you as soon as you complete this event, and it will run until June 15th…which is likely when we’ll see our next multi-event in TSTO.
As a side note…I STILL haven’t received a token via Daily Challenges. So if you think it’s just you…you’re not alone. (unless it’s just me… 🤷♀️)

I really like the prizes for this update. Pre Emptive Education and Hudson’s house [ I love having character’s homes!] are both cool, unique looking buildings, 2 children’s playgrounds, a mother-son duo. What more could you ask for? I was on the fence about the for cash, Barney skin, bldg combo but the 3 shattered dreams tokens pushed it into the ‘yes’ column for me. So I’ll get a skin and 2 new businesses this update as well. Good on Ya, EA!
The real money combo comes with 3 tokens as well. So I think this is a great deal. You get a building, a “hilarious” skin for Barney (can’t wait to see his quests), 132 donuts (for those who really need them) AND 3 shattered dreams tokens. I’ll grab this one for sure. I’ll just wait a couple more days just in case (I’ve seen some people complaining that they bought it but it didn’t showed in their Springfield nor in their inventory).

It won’t appear until you’ve completed this event. It disappears when a new event starts and doesn’t come back until you’ve finished (you have to actually finish it) the next event
I am happy with this update. I got baby homer, baby bart, baby lisa I missed these from prior event I am glad I was able to get them. I like the prizes from this mini update. I am more likely to purchase the premium content to show my support for the game.
I was hoping for Moe’s Express Lemonade! It was too expensive for me first time around.

I bought the character/building combo donut package. It is not in my inventory. I tried to reorder it but the game says I already have it. Does anyone know where it might be?
Did you place it down for building but not click on the thumbs up for the completed building? Character won’t be unlocked until building unlocked .
I went through every inch of my land and nothing is building. Would it help to log out and then back in? Or should I just wait a day or two and see if it shows up?
Finally a premium worth the $9.99…this event is 2 wks right? I don’t get paid til the 1st…lol

If this was ‘Rescue Crazy 🐈 Lady from the Park’ Mini Event? I’d be all for it – but it’s not! 🙄
It’s a Mini Event based on the animated short “Playdate with Destiny” (that was a cute short) with Hudson (whom I enjoyed seeing Maggie get happy for) …. and “The Incredible Lightness of Being a Baby” (Episode 18, Season 31) with his Mum, Courtney (I hated this Character! I hated how this Episode played out for Maggie and Marge! I hated how everything set up in “Playdate With Destiny” was brought to an abrupt end by this Episode! at least I liked ‘The Extremesons’ Couch Gag!) + let’s bring back Simpsons Characters in their ‘Simpsons Babies’ Variants (I lost interest in that back then, I’m still not interested in that now!) 🙄
Yes, it’s New Content that I’m not interested in Tapping for (I’m still having a great time with some of the New Content from “Hell On Wheels”!) and not even access to a new Mystery Box is going to encourage me to Tap, EA (I’ll check back in June to see what the next Multi Act Event delivers!) 🤷🏼♂️
