It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I tried searching for this but maybe wasn’t using the right words. I just downloaded an image of my whole town and up in the corner is a new area on the other side of the mountains with purple electrified looking forward rocks, is this new? I admittedly haven’t played in a long while so I definitely could have missed game play involving this but I was wondering what it is.
This is from last November’s Northward bound event. You’ll find a lot of info about it if you search Northward bound. Ironically, Alissa was off at the time too. So probably not as much information as you’re used to, similar to the current event.

Fox Animation Domination Cancellation
‘Duncanville’ (brought to you by SNL’s Amy Pohler, The Simpsons veteran Mike Scully, former Simpsons writer-producer Julie Scully, 20th Television Animation, Universal TV, Fox Entertainment, Bento Box Entertainment) officially canceled after 3 Seasons ….. with the final 6 Episodes getting dumped right onto Hulu!
Fox’s Animation Domination’s block currently consists of –
‘The Simpsons’
‘Family Guy’
‘Bob’s Burgers’
‘The Great North’ ‘Housebroken’
Fox Animation Domination is preparing for the launch of 2 new Animated Series –
Dan Harmon’s ‘Krapopolis’
Jon Hamm-voiced ‘Grimsburg’
‘Duncanville’ joins ‘Bless The Hearts’ for not lasting very long …. in fact? Fox has a problem maintaining its Animation Block! Other Animated Series which tanked include –
‘Sit Down Shut Up’ (1 Season, 2009)
‘Allen Gregory’ (1 Season, 2011)
‘Napoleon Dynamite’ (1 Season, 2012)
‘Axe Cop’ / ‘High School USA’ (both Pilots premiered on Fox in 2013, moved to FXX in 2015, both canceled after 1 Season!)
Fox Animation Domination lost ‘American Dad’ to TBS (2014), while there are only 2 other Animated Series that have faired better after ending via syndication –
‘King of the Hill’ (1997 – 2009, 13 Seasons)
‘The Cleveland Show’ (2009 – 2013, 4 Seasons)
What does this mean? I think ‘The Simpsons’ will keep going – since it still brings Fox ratings on Sunday and Fox still hasn’t found another Animated Series (besides ‘Family Guy’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ which hold their own) that can take its place. ‘The Simpsons’ even gets high ratings on Hulu and Disney+ … you can’t say the same for most of the new Animation that has debuted since 2019!
There seems to be a glitch on the crazy dog man where he fights the crazy cat lady. I’ve sent him to do this task 3x now and it still shows that it needs to be done.
I completed that task, one and done. No issues for me.
Anyone else having this glitch on “Look What the Dog Dragged In Pt. 2”?

Yes I had that glitch, I could do the task while CCL was still on a task, she has to be free to do the task

You need to send him on that team when the CCL is free. He’ll appear to do it even when she’s not, but it won’t “count.”
Does anyone know why EA removed the shattered tokens from the donut bundels in the shop? Or do they only appear after you completed the event since last update?
I believe they only show up between events when the box is active.
That’s pretty funny, but I had a different punchline in mind.
Does anyone know if there are any plans to add new stuff to the yearbook?
