It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Does anyone know what the next event will be?
My Shattered dream biox has a countdown of seven days, so I’m guessing next Wednesday or Thursday. Probably a mini event.
So I got Buck Mitchell and his villa from the shattered dreams mystery box. Only problem is his quest ‘No Bucks Given pt. 1’ doesn’t start. There’s a task for Homer and Buck, but no button to send them on the task. Tried storing the building and the character, but that didn’t work. Anyone got any ideas (other than – shudder – contact the EA helpdesk)? Thanks!
I got Barbarian Castle with Barbariaan Homer and Wizard Marge both at level 1 from the first Shattered dreams box. From what I’ve been able to tell EA is rereleasing prizes without the questlines on some of them. My Toreador Grampa came with its quest line though.
Thanks Greg! I had 5 tokens and decided to try them all (I really wanted coach Pommelhorst). I also won costumes for Comic Book Guy and Drederick Tatum. Their questlines started just fine. I’m okay with characters coming without questlines (Maude from the Yearbook came without one too for example). I just hope I won’t have an unfinishable task in my taskbook for all eternity now 😉

Yay we got 🌧️ (consistent for the past 2 days) and we definitely could use an improved consistent water 💦 source !
I actually completed this Multi-Act Event just to try the Shattered Dreams Mystery Box (I still have a few Shattered Dreams 🪙’s since there really wasn’t anything of interest Content wise for me, but for a New Tapper? this is another good way to obtain Prior Content – I say give it a try!)

Real disappointed in the selection available for “shattered dreams”. Possibly would waste donuts on them, but not the hard to get tokens. Received Homerton and Cletus in one game.
Finished up the main questline in the dog event. Really enjoyed it, lots of cool buildings and characters. I actually made out in the Shattered dream box. I got Testoster-Zone and Toreador Grampa, neither of which I had. Typical funny Grampa quest.
