Showbiz Showdown Act 4 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Lights! Camera! Actions!  Krusty’s making a Sands of Space squeal, but will his movie survive the studio’s crazy crossover?  Only time..and 5 weeks of tapping will tell!

As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Remember, this is the FINAL Act of this event.  This and all other Acts must be finished by next WEDNESDAY, September 14th.  

Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Sideshow Bob, the Vindicators, Krusty, and Homer…

Sideshow Bob:  My name is Robert Terwilliger, your new director. Complete transparency…I’m a convicted felon.
Airshot: Convicted of what?
Sideshow Bob:  Faking my own death, rigging an election, a bunch of attempted murders…
Krusty: Don’t forget the time you tried to frame me for robbery.
Airshot: And you want this guy to direct your movie?
Sideshow Bob:  Would you rather star in a flop directed by Krusty, or in a blockbuster hit directed by a hardened criminal?
Moby Man: My agent said I’m one flop away from hosting game shows, so I choose the criminal!
Sideshow Bob:  Alas, I can not change my past, but I can forge a new future. Your futures. For the better. Now, are there any objections before we begin?
Homer: Just one… Are you going to try and kill Bart again?
Sideshow Bob:  If there’s time. Now, let’s take this scene from the top.

This triggers the Act 4 questline, A Recipe for Distress and is followed by  4hr tasks for Krusty and Sideshow Bob, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (145).  A Recipe for Distress is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…

Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:

Despite Bart’s objections, Sideshow Bob comes on board as the new director and quickly gets to work. Before long, he’s turning the movie around and into something that’s not total garbage.

Eventually everyone prepares for the movie’s big scene involving a helicopter. When Sideshow Bob performs some “safety inspections” on said helicopter, he then reveals that this was all an elaborate ruse into securing a means for his escape as he flies off into the sunset.

Left without a competent director, the cast immediately begins infighting. This forces Krusty to roll up his sleeves and be the director he was supposed to be all along and rallies the cast and crew to his side and ultimately completes the movie.

As I stated above, you’ll go right into the A Recipe for Distress questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency.  From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event.  So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc. 

Characters earn:

5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track.  You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes.  So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until September 14th to finish those…
