It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Showbiz Showdown is over. We’ve got a little downtime until the next update hits. Our prediction is a mini event for Wednesday… but nothing is guaranteed. If it is indeed a mini event, thoughts on what we might see? What would you like up see?

One thing I’d like to see is to do a mini event around Springfield Heights. I haven’t used the producing buildings in years, except for the occasional daily mission. Ea could Come up with some new buildings and decorations of their own design. Either that or convert the producing buildings to generating cash, xp, or something new that would be useful to the game. Also I’d like to see another prize added to Road to Riches, even if it costs several billion. I’ve been maxed out on cash for a while, and even though I can always use xp I find myself not sending characters out on jobs or collecting from buildings as often as I used too.
NO! Springfield Heights is the worst addition to the game ever. I’ve stored literally every building that I could. I want more Krustyland/Duffland content (I realize that is controversial as well). Or maybe Squidport/beach.
No!!! Lol
Now that I think about it, I think a haunted KrustyLand theme would be awesome for an event. (Yes, I do live close to a Six Flags and am excited about frightfest coming up).
I’m down to my last square in the frontier expansion. I can still collect prospectors maps and land deeds. Should I? Can I trade them for donuts after I get the last square? I could get 54 land deeds, and trade three for the last square. What happens to the others? I can collect unlimited prospector maps, from what I can tell. What happens to them?
Hey Safi, are you doing anything to observe the funeral? I’m working but I’ll take those 96 seconds to pause (she was 96 years old). As for the game, I really hope they bring her in. Then a show with Charles III passing through Springfield to show up everywhere.
I’ll be watching early tomorrow morning. Then another 8 flight week with 2 flights tomorrow.

If we get a mini event next, then it looks to me like the calendar may line up to get a THOH themed major event after that. I hope so!
So what do you think the chances are that EA will add the queen to our game tomorrow as a tribute to her. She was in the episode ” the Regina monologues” afterall the one where the simpsons visit Britain.
It takes a while for the process to go from concept to implementation, so I don’t anticipate the Queen entering our game in the very near future. But I could definitely see her entering in the not too distant future.
