It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Tragic Magic is winding down. This one ends on Wednesday. Thoughts on the mini-event? Prizes? Questlines?
We’ll likely see Halloween make an appearance in our towns in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, we’ll get some spoilers sooner. What do you think this year’s Halloween event will bring?

I am in desperate need of help. I’ve been playing TSTO since 2012 and can’t get into my town. This started yesterday (I’m a daily player) and my account logged me out. So I went to log back in (annoying but it happens occasionally) and got the code sent to my email on file but when I input the code it told me “incorrect code. Please try again” and wouldn’t let me log in. I have tried and retired. I have deleted the app and redownloaded it. Try as I might I can’t get any help from EA. Does anyone have any advice?
Sometimes when I get the incorrect code message I tap verify again it accepts the code.
Another baseball season is in the books and it was a good one, especially as a Cardinal fan watching the farewell tour of Pujols and Yadi. Looks like it’s going to be a great playoff with lots of great teams having a good shot at winning it all. My preseason prediction of the Philies and Bluejays is still alive but on life support lol.
I’m just happy the curse in my house was broken. My husband is a HUGE Phillies fan and they haven’t been to the playoffs since he met me lol

I have the fortune teller and it still isn’t working, still stuck on Part 3?? I see I’m not the only one stuck…any ideas???
I have the fortune teller, and have stored both of them, and she will not complete the ‘read tarot cards’ task. Don’t know what the issue is.

so having a major bug. i did a daily quest send springfielders to kwik e mart. i sent everyone. now when i clicked on them after the task was over, it collects the money, but still has the checkmark by the character in the top left saying their task is done, then when i try to tap on anyone or send someone to do a job, it does nothing, its acting like they are still on that daily quest. the characters go back into the kwik e mart. i restart the game, and the checkmarks are there at the kwik e mart to collect on daily task again…tried uninstalling, still does same
Did you try storing the KEM in your inventory?
Do you think there will be a week off between the mini event and the next big event?
We shouldn’t see the next event until next week, based on when the Shattered Dreams Box leaves.
So no way to purchase Princess Opal has ever appeared in my game? I thought possible that I needed to do a questline, but she simply has never shown in my game.
It’s a premium character tied to this event. She won’t just appear, you’ll have to purchase her.
I’m aware she s premium character but she is not showing up in my game to purchase. The other two “premium” characters showed up but not her.
There was only 1 new premium character with this event + the donut offer. Are you confusing Princess Opal w the Fortune Teller?

Like many of you I am pleying TSTO for quite some time and became quite attached to my little town. I say “my” little town as although we are using pre-designed elements, we have created individual little works of art with them. Would it not be nice to have the ability to download and print them in a resonable detail and size. I tried to download and print my city, but it hasn’t worked for quite a while, and when it did, the detail was horrible. Is there a way to do it? Maybe there is a business oportunity here for someone who can work it out.
Williamsvater, if you are playing on a decent tablet or a decent phone, there is a tedious possibility of just screenshotting your town, then printing the screens in high resolution 300 dpi and higher. Then arrange all the prints next to each other to form a big poster of your town

I’ve got the fortune teller and I’ve tried several times to send them both on the joint task. It doesn’t solve the problem.
Is anyone else having trouble with Princess Opal not responding to the “Read Tarot Cards” task? The task is blocked, even though she’s available, and never marks as done no matter how many time I send her on the task.
You need to have the firtune teller.
