Act two Shifting drifts part three, I was forced to spend 250 donuts buying Barney’s bowlarama to complete the mission and continue. Pretty mad about that does not seem right. Android user. Anyone else have the problem???

Guessing it will be a facade and you will be able to switch between snow or no snow
I love “The Christmas Carol” and many of it’s films and tv parodies, but this event looks like it could have used Charles Dickens himself as a character or something extra to spice up the prize track.
Still might be nice to get Gil as a character in the game (Christmas time makes the most sense for that).
Kinda hoping for tappable critters, like past Christmas events (I have a few new ideas, but it would be fine if they recycled the eggnog people from the past events)

So…nobody makes the connection to Matt Groening’s splash page, and one of the upcoming characters looking almost exactly like Mr. Magoo from “Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol?” That is still one of my favorite childhood memories. But, I hope that Matt or the writers come clean in the dialogue.

It’s the Simpson’s parody version of Magoo, Mr. McGrew. Looks like we’ll be getting more content from that episode as well. Happy Christmas tapping and love to the family. <3

Like the facades in general as they turn city atmosphere, and sorry if I missed it, but wonder why they dont give us a switch for them as they did with halloween facades last event. With so many of them as prices.
The Halloween switch is new this past event. The Christmas plunger has been around for a few years. Look for it hopefully coming back to this event if you missed out previously.

Thanks for the thorough breakdown folks. Any new event is a good event at this point, although some are certainly better than others. I’ll play it and enjoy it like I have for many prior events. Thanks EA for keeping our game alive. One question though – is it just me or does Skyfinger look an awful lot like Mr Magoo from Mr Magoo’s Christmas Carol???

I love these spoiler videos! I laughed when you mentioned the geriatric snowman being decor rather than the character. The prize tracks are not very good..the Gil deal is …odd, the premiums look very good. Safi..your shirt is ok, lol, but Alissa..I really like the Addicts shirt you had on. Are those available for sale? It would be a nice Christmas gift. Thanks again for making the video, gives me a couple of days to plan and arrange for new prizes.
Well I found the addicts shop, but doesn’t seem to load. Oh well.
Whether I get the for real money skinner costume or not will be purely based on finding out whether it includes the voice clip of ” now nibbles chew through my ball sack” or not.
I also have to give Safi a well deserved shoutout. His encyclopedic knowledge of the show is amazing. He can recall details of past episodes like they just aired yesterday.

As someone who was wondering where she was going to place a bunch of Christmas buildings- because my space is maxed out – I’m kinda happy to see a bunch of building skins. Not a bad lineup… not the most exciting either… but I also love it when the snow appears! It’ll be a fun distraction. Ho Ho Ho! 🧑🎄

EA is being a Scrooge with this one. While I like facades for buildings, that should really be a donut or cash buy and not prizes, especially since some of them are for premium buildings that some people might not have. Not excited for this event but the good thing is I don’t have to worry about making a lot of room for large Christmas items.
As for the character list for event currency, Mr. Plow, Plow King and Ebenezer Burns are all premium skins, so I wonder if they’ll earn premium currency. Maybe that’s why you have both Homer and Mr. Plow listed? If you have his premium skin, he can earn event currency faster. Just a theory.
For those who haven’t played a Christmas event before, it will take a long time to update the game when you do. Happens every year so just be prepared for it. It’s a huge amount of data to turn the town into winter mode.
