Another Event has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Christmas Peril, Act 1 hit our games Wednesday.
Here is a basic calendar to keep track of the currency needed to unlock all 5 items.
As Alissa so clearly laid out in the Rundown post, the following 5 prizes are available in Act 1:
Put Up Lights (Animated Task for Homer)- Pushing and Shoveling Pt. 1 and 155 
Santa’s Tavern (Facade for Moe’s)- Pushing and Shoveling Pt. 2 and 155 
A Christmas Peril Mystery Box Token- Pushing and Shoveling Pt. 3 and 125 
Christmas Costington’s (Facade for Costington’s)- Pushing and Shoveling Pt. 4 and 155 
Snow Day Bart (Costume)- Pushing and Shoveling Pt. 5 and 195
So in order to unlock all 5 prizes, you need to earn 785 . That comes out 87.2 per day.

So here is the calendar with where players should be at the end of each day in order to be on pace to unlock all 5 prizes by the end of the Act:

Anyone know where to find the Costington’s facade? Every time I earn an event reward I try not to put into storage cause they never gave me the Halloween billboard. This time I couldn’t store facade cause I didn’t have the building but bought it days later using free donuts.
Very curious about this, too. I already had the building, but my wife did the same as you and bought it AFTER earning the facade. Now she can’t find it in her inventory, and it isn’t attached to the building.
When looking for a new event item in inventory, always look through the uncategorized view (the one you get by just swiping left, without going into any category first). It could very well be at the very end of that (or near the beginning).

Can we start a list of Building/decorations that don’t have a snow facade? I don’t mean a holiday decoration facade. I mean A Snow facade, where snow seems to magically evade them. 😀

I’m really quite angry with EA as I purchased the donut pack with the costume and pet however never received donuts nor costume & pet. They told me they couldn’t do anything as I only play the game on a phone and not a pc so will have to go through apple for my refund ?? Anyone else had this issue ? And if so do I risk purchasing them again as I really hate not having a full set 😞
It’s an app store issue, so contact them for a refund ASAP and then try again. Only ever happened to me once. It was easy to get the refund and the second attempt worked
I’ve been playing this game for 10 years now like a lot of folks, and this to me by far is the lamest Christmas event ever, facades, skins, wtf?
I agree. One positive, however, is those without much available land shouldn’t have to worry much during this event. Which I kinda/sorta like, because I don’t have that much land available.
I even cleared some land in my Christmas area in anticipation, guess I can just fill it with stuff from storage
You should have watched the spoiler video…lol. That’s what I refer to before each event, exactly for space planning purposes.
I like that we’re getting facades instead of buildings. It’s something different for once and it doesn’t take up more land that is limited.
Building facades (ie., clothes) and costumes??? Just clothes for Christmas??? We are NOT house elves, EA. Worst….Christmas….Presents….EVER.
I guess you never got a lump of coal for Christmas..lol…or ever gone without a new toy..lol. I feel anything new is better than nothing, and nothing isn’t really that bad, …

Another non stressful event. Already have another token (Fri morning) to add to my collection.
With all the characters and premium skins available to work on tasks, it’s Friday morning and I’m already working on the last prize of Bart’s snowsuit. Guess I’ll have a week of animations using characters skins to keep me and visiting neighbors amused, such as Homer decorating a tree growing in the middle of a street. Let the sleigh rides begin!
Is anyone else besides me still dealing with the Fortune Teller? Have reported to EA, and went through all the steps that have been shown to complete the event. But unfortunately, their is still showing up as incomplete. At this point I just want it gone.
Yes, I’m still stuck on that task. I’ve reported it to EA twice.
Yup. Still stuck there too. Reported it to EA, and was told they couldn’t do anything with it, because it was an in-game issue. Said to check the discussion groups, which I’ve already done and none of their fixes have worked.
