We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Has anyone bought one of the new characters sp far in this event? What were your thoughts?
Woke up this morning to a huge update (12/17/22) with nothing noticeable changing, then a few hours another huge update… and nothing noticeable… Did something go wrong with my game, or are other people seeing this as well?
Is it just my imagination or is the snow falling heavier than normal?
That’s what I was thinking, maybe it gets heavier with each part.
The snow makes me so happy. That is all I came to say. I wish it was outside my window instead of in my game. But I will take what I can get.
Was the sea captain quest on the ghost ship ever resolved, mine is still greyed out and I have both?

All I want for Christmas is Golden Goose Realty. Not in a mystery box with lightning-strike odds but available for a purchase. I’d pay 300 donuts for it without batting an eye. I don’t get why they hold that building hostage when so many of us need it? I think more players will leave the game if they have no ability to meaningfully expand their town.
Is it because of the expansion of Springfield Heights? Maybe I’m an purist but that area doesn’t flow well with the aesthetics of the town. I mean, there’s not even a road to it—just a dinky foot bridge. My town is getting crowded and I’m desperately in need space to accommodate the buildings of the last year in an aesthetically pleasing way. Please EA, if you’re listening, help!!!!

Is there a list somewhere of which characters have a “Drive the Sleigh” jobs? Which version of Santa do you need, and which sleigh? I love seeing them fly across the screen. 😊

I want to say Side Show Mel, Rich Texan and White Witch Burns but I’m not sure.
Good catch on Mel! Is Rich Texan’s a sleigh thing…yes, I think you’re right about that, too! (I already had Burns on my list though.)
Also, I think Sea Captain’s sleigh is cosmetic only, no task to drive his sleigh. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Long time, first time post here got two things to ask:
1. What is the fastest way to spend the dollars you get in game? I’m sitting at over 3.4 billion, would be more but I’ve bought and then resold the Rat Trap Truck (RTT). If you do the XP accelerator and every 3rd RTT you’ll level up. Problem is that it takes forever for the level up prompt and donut select to appear. There was one time, I kid you not that I was doing the level up prompt for like 90 minutes. Or God help you you are in the middle of it and the game crashes, you get only 1 more chance at Donuts. Can’t tell you how many donuts I’ve lost because the game crashes while I’m waiting for all the XP gets counted.
2. Are they ever gonna reopen stuff for Springfield Heights? I’m just under 800M and I want to complete it. So close yet so far. What’s irritating is that there Daily Challenges that pop up for Heights currency, I know that i can change once what every 12 hours but I’ve had times where I would cancel say furniture and then I get something else.
If anyone wants to know the RTT level up let me know and I’ll post the steps (I mean it’s not hard just very time consuming)
Lastly I would like to thank the people that run this site as it’s where I get my info for when a event/chapter starts
I’d already hit lvl 939 when I decided to do some serious farming, even with a bonus over 16k% it took 3 years doing some insane bursts to hit 1,234,567 Ds !!
Fastest way to burn cash is Krusty Burger Oil Rigs. Buy for $8 mil and get $2mil back when you sell to get another. Do that 500 times and you burn off $3 billion !! You only get 1/10th of the XP per $$ though compared to an RTT and can only have 1 KB rig.
I’m doing that right now, taking a break to type before I go burn another $200 mil or so for today then a few more each day for a week to go from more or less $3.4 billion to only $1 billion.
You’ll have to grind out SH currency for now. Upgrade any of the mansions etc and buy random stuff. The buildings you can only have 10 of carry a bonus too, but you can store any of the SH items and it still counts to the value. Once you hit that billion you’ll unlock 8 hour tasks that make it easier rather than tapping non-stop to send and collect.
While I understand the desire to use IGC to earn donuts or increase one’s bonus multiplier or whatever, I don’t get the desire to burn off cash just for the sake of it. I’m usually in a maxed-out state, cash-wise, but I just ignore it.
Did anyone ever find a solution to complete the Princess Opal tarot cards quest from the Halloween event? I am beginning to fear I’m doomed to have that unfinished quest sitting there forever.
It’s been reported and needs a fix / patch from the Studio. Nothing to do but ignore it and wait, sorry.

It is meant to look like that. There was a Simpsons episode that parodied him as Mr McGrew
It’s definitely an allusion/homage to that.
I have an open task from the black friday event in my task archive box. Something like “buy donuts for gold coin”.
But it seems impossible to complete that task, since I can’t buy any donuts for gold coins after black friday event is over. I already bought donuts for token, but that did not do the trick.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

(I don’t think I will ever nuke my Springfield to put everything in storage and rebuild but I do wish we could empty our storage from all of the multiple items.
I wonder if EA corrected the limit of placed items in my Springfield…
Just won 5 doughnuts on Sideshow Bob. Never seen that before so looks like an upgrade so happy to take that !
Actually it’s been there since Day 1 of Sideshow You. Every 300th balloon popped yields 5 donuts. So I get it about every two months considering I play Sideshow You about 10 times per week.
Everyone seems to be complaining about all the facades being dealt out this event, but I like the facades. They are what makes your old and tired buildings have some holiday flair, bringing new purpose to them during the holiday events. What could be more festive than more decorations? Of course, people love to complain even when they have nothing to complain about. #firstworldproblems

Is there any possibility to get the actual Constingtons building? I got the facade, but can’t use as the Constingtons event was back in 2013.
I got it in the Yearbook almost a year ago. I presume it’s not available anymore?
Kirsi, the Costington building is in the Xmas event shop right now for donuts. Comes with some old man in a suit who earns Event currency
I really enjoy the façades. I wish we could get more! I am really enjoying the updated snow screen in Springfield this year.

Does anyone know if Mystery Box tokens carry over? If there’s nothing I like in the Box, can I keep the token for another event?
Nearly every time, the answer has been “no”. Event tokens are ‘use it or lose it’.
The Shattered Dreams token in between events do however carry over.
What if there is no Mystery Box. Does that mean I would already have everything that would be in there already?
