Another Event has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Christmas Peril, Act 2 hit our games Friday.
Here is a basic calendar to keep track of the currency needed to unlock all 5 items.
As Alissa so clearly laid out in the Rundown post, the following 5 prizes are available in Act 2:
The Android’s Mittens & Mugs (Facade for Android’s Dungeon)- The Shifting Drifts Pt. 1 and 155 
Snowed-In Springfield Elementary (Facade for Springfield Elementary)- The Shifting Drifts Pt. 2 and 155 
A Christmas Peril Mystery Box Token- The Shifting Drifts Pt. 3 and 125 
Ned’s Plow Car (Decoration)- The Shifting Drifts Pt. 4 and 155 
Mr. McGrew (Character)- The Shifting Drifts Pt. 5 and 195
So in order to unlock all 5 prizes, you need to earn 785 . That comes out 87.2 per day.

So here is the calendar with where players should be at the end of each day in order to be on pace to unlock all 5 prizes by the end of the Act:

I LOVE the blizzard. I hope we will get a switch/lever to start and stop this one day. Just like for the facades <3
If we did, it would only work during the Christmas/winter event, because the snow (and snowy versions of each building) is only loaded into our games for that event. That’s why there was such a humongous download at the start of this event. Not all devices can even handle it (or have enough spare room for it) so I doubt they’d leave that in their download packages year round.
This has got to be the most underwhelming event since 2020. Im barely playing as is and I’m looking at the next prize track and don’t even want to bother playing…
Im sorry to be coming here to vent but Christmas is my most anticipated event of the year which makes it all the worse…
This event is a straight F for me
I was hoping that the Crazy Cat Lady sleigh would work.
All my slieghs work except the captains for cat lady dress her in Christmas clothes and it’s under 12 hr job

I’m quite enjoying the snow, it’s crazy! Yes it hinders visibility but in a Simpsons game not everything should be normal all the time 😉
I got Mr McGrew but he cannot do the 12 hour task. It says requires a building. Which building is required? Will we get it for act 3 or 4 or do we need to buy building? Thanks!
I’m also waiting on the reply with the token box l don’t see it either and how to get Mr Mrgew house? Hopefully being that Christmas is around the corner maybe this will be fixed before the event ends. Merry Christmas all!!

Pulled in two directions, it is great to see so much snow falling, however, almost impossible to see buildings through it, need a lever to control the amount falling. Perhaps next year.
Maybe you just have to use your imagination…lol. Seriously?…you can’t see your buildings? I hope that’s an exaggeration…it does seem to be more of a blizzard than normal, but can’t see buildings? I doubt that. Maybe you gotta be from The Great Northern Maine!!!…to love this snow…

I now have 2 Christmas Mystery Box tokens but there are no Mystery Boxes for me at the Store. Do you have any idea when the Christmas Myster Box will appear so I can spend my tokens?
Where are your tokens? I don’t seem to have received mine. I don’t have a Mystery Box either.
I checked and you are right on …. I earned the tokens but can’t find them in my inventory in addition to no boxes in the store.
I never got my tokens either. I had gotten all the prizes, and in the past was able to get donuts for the tokens. I’m surprised we don’t get anything for them this event. Loving the snow! ❄️ Even when it’s a little harder to find Maggie! 🤣
Same here. I never get the mystery box any more, but I always get the tokens and can swap them for donuts. This time I haven’t received either of the tokens. I’ve still got the Princess Opal task from the Tragic Magic event that I can’t complete either. Every new event seems to produce a different problem lately.

I haven’t received my tokens either. I have a task to exchange them for donuts, but no way to do the exchange.
My only minor gripe (besides game visibility in the blizzard) is that Ned’s 4-hour job is to “Steal Earmuffs from Children”. Maybe “Ask Children to Tithe Earmuffs”, but steal??? Ned??? 🙂
Ned is also Satan in the Treehouse of Horror where Homer sells his soul for a donut, so obv. this is his demonic side coming out… that little no good beatnik rebel

I got an early Christmas gift! The Simpsons’ Skating Rink! It says there is a task for Springfielders but I don’t see it available yet. That was a nice surprise 😲

Willand, whatever building it is, I don’t have it either. Maybe it’s still to come? There’s a Springfield Men’s Mission coming out in the next part of the event. (If my memory serves me correctly).
Also, I don’t think they know yet what building is going to be used. It’s TBA later. So, for now, the task just sits locked.
The event tasks that reward a mystery box token…. I have no “mystery box”, so what’s happening there?
