It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Nothing cool about an inside task
Hi folks, hope everyone’s having a wonderful holiday season! Did anyone purchase the Widow’s Peak? What about the Dodgeball Skinner deal? Thanks!
The dodgeball skinner is OK but the most disappointing thing about it is they didn’t use any new voice clips.
I just wanna say that I played this game years and years ago, and I would check this website out all the time. I recently redownloaded it and I gotta say I’m really happy to see that you all are still posting often! Thanks for all your work 🙂
Can’t find my free skating rink lol, placed it and moved on, lost in my vast Springfield
I usually reserve one empty area for all event items and then decide at the end of the event which items I’m going to store and which I want to use to decorate with. Most of the time, I need to decorate new items into a newly opened area of land, since I tend to build fairly compact areas in my town. Occasionally I’ll move some things around to incorporate a new item in an existing area, but not very often.
Eventuality found it, 4 hr build waiting to be tapped hiding in plain sight lol
Send anyone skating and you’ll know where it is in about 10 minutes

I have a thingie in the bottom left hand corner for ages now saying “Spend a golden token on donuts”. When I click on it I can’t tell what it wants me to do. Any simple directions appreciated.
I see a storage box icon in my task bar that can be opened or shut when I tap on it, but nothing happens when I tap it. It also has the number 1 on it. What does this mean? It’s driving me nuts.
That is the thing that I have. When I open it there is a coin in the drop down (not empty like yours). The coin/token says “Spend a golden token on donuts” but I have no clue what that means. I’d love to lose it too.
Yes, that’s it exactly!
It has been reported to the developers
It means you have to spend real money on donuts, then you receive a golden token
It means you have an old quest not yet done. When you tap the box it shows / hides any archived quests, so in your case that one should be seen just under the box – you may have to scroll the taskbook bar to see it
Thanks! It’s telling me to spend a golden token on donuts, but I see nowhere to do that in the store. Hope EA fixes the glitch.
Where do the Mystery Box Tokens go if one has everything currently available in the game? I past events I’ve been able to “donut cash” them out after receiving them, but I can’t find them to do so. Any ideas?..

FYI, The Christmas Simpsons’ Skating Rink adds a 10-minute task called “Go Skating” to all characters, so just tap any free character and the task will be one of first in their task list. It is technically an indoor task, so the character will disappear and a couple generic skaters will appear on the rink during the task.
I hadn’t tried it yet (although I’d noticed it)…I had been hoping it was a visual talk, even if only for a few characters, like the carousel.

Is anyone else having glitches in the game? I can’t get my characters out of the Kwik-e-mart. I tried erasing the game and reinstalling but nothing seems to work.
Try storing your KEM in inventory.
