Another Event has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Christmas Peril, Act 3 hit our games yesterday.
Here is a basic calendar to keep track of the currency needed to unlock all 5 items.
As Alissa so clearly laid out in the Rundown post, the following 5 prizes are available in Act 3:
Mr. McGrew’s Stovepipe Oven (Decoration)- A-Caroling We Go Pt. 1 and 170 
Holiday Duff Brewery (Facade for Duff Brewery)- A-Caroling We Go Pt. 2 and 170 
A Christmas Peril Mystery Box Token- A-Caroling We Go Pt. 3 and 140 
Springfield Men’s Mission (Building)- A-Caroling We Go Pt. 4 and 170 
Tiny Tim (Character)- A-Caroling We Go Pt. 5 and 210
So in order to unlock all 5 prizes, you need to earn 860 . That comes out 95.6 per day.

So here is the calendar with where players should be at the end of each day in order to be on pace to unlock all 5 prizes by the end of the Act:

Is anybody else bothered by the Tiny Tim quest dialog about him being the only “Tim” in Springfield? Rev Lovejoy is also a Tim! I guess Bart wouldn’t necessarily know that, but if the writers are going to have Bart make meta references about the number in the game, they should know a fairly major character is named Tim.
Good catch! I never realized that, but you’re right! I suspect the writers either forgot or just didn’t know…I don’t think it’s come up very often in the show, and maybe never in the game. But I agree that someone should have caught that.
Am I correct that “peppermints” (or earmuffs, shovels, etc.) do not carry over to the next story after one has earned a “reward?” I thought I read that in a previous post. I could swear that my peppermint counter reset to zero after I unlocked the Mystery Box Token but I could just be having a senior moment 😵💫
PS: my peeps earn 99 “tokens” per 4 hour run.

Once you hit or go over the target for a prize it triggers the next and resets to zero. You could try carefully collecting so you only get enough to finish a prize and collect the others once the next bit starts. If you’ve got ways to be sure to tap on time send what you need to complete then start the others a while later so they come good after you wrap up each part is one way.

I recognize many people received mystery box tokens…but don’t have a mystery box. Normally these tokens can be exchanged for 12 donuts. If you don’t have anything available in a mystery box..or if you have all mystery box content…then you shouldn’t really care about where your mystery box token went. 12 donuts? Who cares if the mystery box token disappeared? Do such people really need those 12 donuts? Some will say “it’s the principle “..others say it’s greed. People…this game is an escape…make of it what you will. I choose to use it as such. Happy New Year!!
Same problem here, no mystery box (which isn’t unusual for me), but tokens don’t show up anywhere to exchange for donuts like they normally do
I have 598 characters so far, whats the highest amount I can get not counting the donut special buys
My Simpsons game has not loaded. Yesterday I couldn’t get in starting around 10 pm and same problems this morning at 9am. Also, the mystery token box is not helpful because I have everything.

Check the other info is correct
Change your password. Doesn’t matter if you change it to the one you already use as long as you go through the steps.
Don’t forget to hit Update to save changes.

Optional but recommended – add a second email so you can recover the account if you lose access to your main email and perhaps add a phone number. You can tap Phone at log-in and enter that number to get log-in codes via SMS
Anyone else just getting a spinning donut when trying to load the game?

Head to recent apps and quit – usually as simple as swiping it off to close it but it depends on the device – then head to your homescreen and start it from the icon
Finished Act 3 today…logging in every 4 hours, while awake, plus 15 characters earning currency makes the Act go by quickly. Here’s how to get everything:
Part 1 – 170 Peppermint Candies; Mr. Plow, Plow King, Ned – 4hr task each.
Part 2 – 170 Peppermint Candies; Moe, Barney, Homer – 4hr task each
Part 3 – 140 Peppermint Candies; Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa – 4hr task each
Part 4 – 170 Peppermint Candies; Lisa, The Ghost of Christmas Past – 4hr task each
Part 5 – 210 Peppermint Candies; Homer, Bart, Lisa, Mr. McGrew – 4hr task each.
Currently working on Tiny Tim quest. So far: Part 1 – Tiny Tim + 5 Youngsters – 4hr each; Part 2 – Tiny Tim + Bart – 4hr each; Part 3 – Tiny Tim + Bart – 4hr each. I’ll update if there’s more to it.

It seems since I don’t have any items to buy with the mystery box token.. I don’t get the token even to exchange for donuts. Kinda weird as the last major event I didn’t have any mystery boxes available.. but still got the tokens to spend on donuts.
Still have to go through all the tasks to get to the next prize level so really no choice.
Not worried about it.. just thought I would complain for once. LOL
You’re not alone, worst case you can trade ’em when the event ends I think . .

Same here. No mystery box and no tokens to exchange for donuts on any of the three prize tracks now. Bit of a waste of time sending the characters on the jobs to claim the tokens really, but there is no way of skipping the task.
It would be nice if we could skip a task that didn’t apply to us…
