It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Just completed the event. Got mayan homer in the shattered dreams box. Can anyone tell me what character collection it comes under?

Also made a return on the Bart royal 2018 event, googled it 😆
Any guesses when the next item limit increase might come? I think it’s so odd that the game encourages to build beautiful, detailed towns but then also penalizes for it.
They do that to keep the game playable for folks who may not have a device with enough processing power/memory to handle more, causing the game to crash on them. Remember that not only do they have to worry about people’s devices being able to handle processing what’s in their own town, they also have to worry about “friends” who may be visiting. When the monorail first game out, some people’s games crashed if they visited a “friendville” that had their monorail running. I had to disconnect one piece of my talk to keep my monorail from running so as not to have other people’s devices crash when they visited my town. (This was back when visiting was a more integral part of the game, IIRC.)
The problem with this site and sorry to say but it’s world wide and time different, there’s a lack of immediate response, this only goes towards general communication, not game information which is great, I have been coming here for years, sometimes more than actually playing the game, it’s a bigger community, rest o worthy ones, I have done the same in trying times and there have been some.

Good news / bad news – I’m now able to do that which adds the bonus I’m in the UK and the downside I have very messed up sleep patterns, Sorry.
As an example I’d done little more than nap for most of last week so when I finally dropped off late Sunday morning here I was so exhausted I slept right through until about an hour ago !!
Dosing up on coffee and then I’ll get the post on what’s in the store up for you all . . . and get back to watching for comments
Good day! Have a question relating to logging in on the iPad. Previously to the latest update I had the option of two emails I could click on to prefill my email address. Now there is only one option. Does anyone know how add email choices on the screen? BTW, I know I can copy emails elsewhere and use the paste function. Thanks in advance.
I’m figuring that depends on the device autocomplete library deciding if you type something enough that it’s worth remembering for you.
When I was flicking between 2 towns on one device I’d start to type the email for that game and it usually offered me the completed address to tap and insert. Now I have a device for each game it doesn’t remember to offer me the less used email if for some reason I want to change log-in.
I’m sure you know, but you must use the email attached to your game account to log in. if you use another because it’s easier for you then the code won’t work because the game will be looking for an account with that other email and not the one where your game data is stored.
You could also edit your EA account and add a phone number to get the codes via SMS.
I think this is more of an iPad issue or iPad/EA login screen issue. What determines what auto fill suggests? I have multiple emails on my contacts list and it used to suggest two, and now only one (“work”).
Sorry, I’m on Android so I couldn’t say.
