It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

As Safi’s linked post explains it’s a limitation for storing data as a number. I had a discussion on this recently where a player thought it was just something EA had done and could change so I directed them to what IBM had to say about it . . .

Just visited my friends, in two towns I received donuts for tapping on ordinary buildings. Is this new or have I been missing out previously?
My guess is you were near the end of the experience bar. I often get donuts when entering the game. I tested visiting neighbors and didn’t receive any donuts.
If you get sprinkles when you load or reload the game it means you had some collected but uncounted XP.
If you’ve got all the FP prizes there’s a small random chance to get a donut from a neighbor tap, but I don’t know the odds.
These were definitely single donuts from the neighbour tap. Was strange to get 2 in the same set of visits. Thought that I must have missed something as I have never seen this before.

Some say best NFL weekend..I’m hoping for niners and bengals..but IF I was betting, I’d go eagles and chiefs, despite Mahomes ankle…very hard for any team in the nfl to beat the same opponent 4 times in a row..no matter the strength of either team. Safi must be an analytics guy..especially for baseball…but I hope he still watches the games and not just the spreadsheets.
More snow today here in Northern Maine..hopefully only 6 inches, but that’s coming off 15” last weekend…and an AMAZING 22” a week and a half before that. So anyone out there complaining about weather…

Ok, I know this has been discussed before, but I am still having the gosh darn Fortune Teller/Princess Opal Tarot Card omni-circle. I’ve been playing since just before the TSTO version of Game of Thrones event (years ago) so I know how to navigate issues. However, even after consulting with EA directly, I still have yet to clear the “Moving in Hex-Filled Circles, Pt 3” task. Talking about ALL the solutions, nothing has worked. Even when EA assured me it would. Is ANYONE else having this issue?
HELP, please.
Many affected by this, including me in my A town.
The devs are aware, but no news on when a fix is coming so it’s fingers crossed every update until it happens. Sorry.
BTW it’s just Princess Opal.
Doing the 8 hour joint task with the Fortune Teller won’t help.
Storing her or the table or both in any sequence won’t help.
All you can do is just keep sending her to Read Tarot Cards for 4 hours until you get the chance to send her to Read Tarot Cards for 4 hours and it actually counts as the quest task !!?

My week-old game is going to hit level 19 in a few hours. It goes against my nature skipping events, and I have to keep telling myself not to tap on those those tasks !!
Splashed the cash on Key to the City and a Barney Bargain – Barney, 120 sprinkles and 100,000 $$s for less than $9 if my math is right ( £6.99 ) so I now figure I’ll get premium items, but only the ones in the regular store between events. Oh, and Golden Goose Realty if that makes a rare appearance.
Those brown houses should be ready to tap again about now so I’m off collecting again . . .
