I really liked that episode and thought while watching it was full of potential for the game. So I’m really hyped with this event and I will buy all the premium characters. I’m just disappointed they didn’t release Marge’s twin brother who was hilarious in the show.

Well dang. Was hoping for a valentines day/normal town event…..looks like ill just keep focusing on getting donuts for the year book cause all (and i mean every single one) of these prizes will end up in my already crowded inventory.

I picked a great time to return to the game! First a festival themed event and now D&D! Excited to get to design a fun medieval town! Thankfully the buildings look to be coherent in design and will look great in a little town square!

They took the time to work round their busy schedules to put together a video for you that you can choose to watch and find out or wait until it hits your game to see what’s new.
This has been addressed before. Alissa has a lot going on in her life right now and these videos are easier for her to do right now. While I, too, ideally prefer written info to videos, I understand why it’s being done this way and support Alissa, since she’s been supporting this wonderful site for many, many years (sometimes at her own financial expense and certainly at the expense of her free time and energy).
Please do appreciate Alissa & Safi and their time & effort. They even divided the video in segments so you can skip and jump directly to the reveal of the rewards.

Usually means the game’s been running a while and low on memory. if you pop to friends towns and see that then it’s already saved your game so head back and quit and then re-start it to go visit and that should sort it out.

Thanks for the spoiler video. Looks like a good event..lots of buildings. I’m always worried about space, but the majority of these buildings look as though they can be placed quite close together, hopefully saving some space with that. I love the spoilers because they all me to now go prep an area I feel will be sufficient for the majority of items. I’m looking forward to it. On an unrelated note…no, the movie “Magic Mike” was not based on me…lol. I hope that made someone laugh other than myself. It’s starting to warm up here after a brutal last night and afternoon today. Will be -20 or so tonight, but thankfully the wind has calmed. Anyone else wondering what that extreme cold is like..I started my car every 2.5 hours overnight, to make sure it would be ok this morning. I don’t think an electric vehicle will make it here…very few people have them..and only seen during the summer..even the Ford f-150s.

Wow. A GoT-themed event without any female characters being offered?? Such a disappointment, if not a downright insult.
It’s not a GoT themed update. It’s a parody within a parody within a parody. First the boys are playing Vaults and Vandals parodying Dungeons and Dragons that lands them in the Kingdom of Springlandia, Simpson’s parody- the Serfsons. The Serfsons episode lampoons Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, nods to Monty Python and even has Toothless from How to Train a Dragon on the Serfson hovel wall.
I suppose they could have made a Mrs.Bouvier ice queen character for the few seconds of the episode she was one…or given us peasant skins for Marge and Lisa, who already both have magic skins.
I remember the Toothless cameo. That was hilarious.

I like the fact that all of the track prize buildings are similar in design. It will make it easier to construct a coherent little medieval town. Also, I think that we have several other buildings that would fit in very nicely. IMHO. I am however a little disappointed that we won’t have the option to get some Dragans that can fly and wreck havoc. That would have been really cool .

The Gil deal dragon may do that, we don’t know yet. I think it’s an NPC but it could work like the tugboat that rains donuts for a few seconds, when you tap the dragon it flies and spits fire- for 250 donuts it better do something really cool.
I think the medieval shops will dovetail nicely with Burnsom Circus and anything from the Pagan Carnival event.

I dont enjoy the non-springfield related events. i like building a “realistic” springfield. I know that my style isnt for everyone, but usually every event has a handful of useful prizes/decorations…..this has none
Last event I did not even get the donuts for my tokens!
Medieval Springfield going to need a bit of land to create the town, lots of medieval houses and castles
I’m actually kinda bummed that the 4 premiums will be tied to the buildings you buy em with, because I’m not getting a lot of inspiration to build up an area for them.. maybe i’ll change my mind, but so far, not impressed.
