It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Do you think we will ever get a new bridge façade for the bridge that connects Springfield Heights to the frontier area? I dont feel like my planned designs would fit with the old rope bridge. Would make for a great prize in an event
I’d like that. Be nice if they had a modern bridge skin for it to give us a choice.
Perhaps as that Road To Riches prize that’s been Coming Soon for years now, or a new quest to go collect steel and rivets/bolts to upgrade ??

Hello, I have this task I can’t clear. “Spend a Golden Token on Donuts.” When clicked, it doesn’t point me in the right direction. Any thoughts?
There are many tappers that have that task. Who knows when or if EA is going to fix the problem.
having a hard time caring enough to focus on this event with these bogus prizes. Instead i am grinding monorail bonuts to get Lugash out of the vault this week. I usually dont bother with monorail bonuts as its too tedious, but 15 donuts for a character building combo is great.
still feel the need to unlock all prizes just for the simple fact that i dont want to have these prizes clog up my yearbook mystery box at some point in the future.
These are great prizes…what would you prefer? I’m just curious….

First off, this event theme is not exciting for me. Secondly, I want prizes that fit into a normal, everyday Springfield. That is just me though. I literally don’t have a single character, prize, or token used in this event. hoping the token or donut task actually works after this event.
So a few days ago, I had a daily challenge, something about sending 5 persons so relax at the presidential estate, so since I didn’t have anything else to do with the rest of the characters, I send everyone, +350 characters, after the mission was done, and i click the building to release everyone, I went to visit other Springfields, as I went back, that building gave me all the thumbs up as if all the jobs where ready but I didn’t sent any jobs, so I click it and I got all the xp, i went back to other Springfields to check again and then again there was all the thumbs up, so my game got that glitch, as everitime I got back again I had all the jobs done again, i got to level up a lot until I save the building in the storage.
Have anyone had a glitch like that?
Known as the Milk Glitch from the Daily Challenge to send everyone to buy milk where it was first noticed.
Keep collecting ’til you’re rich or bored or need someone then simply store the building where the task is located to break the loop.
If it’s somewhere like Homer’s House that you can’t store then store an item that was bundled with or unlocked a character that’s on the task, like storing the School to store Skinner, and collect again to solve it.
Don’t forget to put the stored item back !!
Thank you I never knew it before, so I leveled up to level 742 to get maggie on the homerliyas, and then stored the building, thank you now I know in case it happens again but in homer house or some un-storagable building now I know what to do

I got the Medieval skin for Squeaky Voice Peasant Teen today. It’s hilarious! One of his jobs is Pull the Filth Wagon.. so gross! But so funny 🤣🤣

Back in the day that was a cash offering, but they were less often and I only had one town on the go so I decided to dust off my wallet and pay out for it 😊

My new little town, or the Kindle it’s on, has decided the best way to let me know something’s ready to collect is to show the Bart Screen – deep joy !!

The game made me go through the whole email login process today, after having just gone through that process as recently was yesterday! Anyone know what’s up with that? It’s usually several weeks between each time I have to do that…
Seems random. Try just quitting the game – usually as simple as swiping it off in recent apps but depends on the device – then restart it. Half the time it remembers I was logged in, but not always.
Yeah, I tried that both days, but to no avail. Also, it’s annoying that half the time when I come back from checking my email for the code, the game forgets that it’s waiting for it and makes me start over with putting in my age, email address, etc.. However, I have noticed that the code doesn’t change between those two back-to-back attempts, so, next time that happens, at least I won’t have to worry that it’s gonna happen again in the second attempt. (I’m not sure I’ve ever had that happen twice in a row on back-to-back attempts anyway, but at least I won’t have to risk it.)
Can you get the code from alerts on the drop-down menu ??
It used to glitch out and need a new code if you popped off to read an email and reloaded the game – all good fun ’til they fixed that !!
Perhaps add a phone number to your EA account and at log-in it has Phone next to Email, tap that and use the number you registered to get codes via SMS ??
