It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Does anybody have any idea why I can’t take a photo of my Springfield with the in-game camera option. Every time I try I’m told that I need at least 9GB of free space… but I have over 300GB free on my phone already! Help!
If you’re not mistaken and your phone really did come with 512gb of internal system memory and you’ve used a 212gb chunk of it ( wow, that’s a huge amount ) then your phone is faulty.
If you mean mb not gb it’s nowhere near enough, or if you are referring to cloud storage or external / added like an SD card then TSTO won’t use that and you need to see what you can free up in the built in storage
Hey all, I’ve been playing for a while but I dipped out for a little while and I didn’t play for like three years. Is there a way to release every single character from their tasks all at once? Is there a building or a decoration that does that? I only ask because that’s one of only two things in the game that I don’t have the ability to do and it’s annoying. The other one is, is there any building or decoration that gives every single character a 24 hour task? Like The ice-skating rink gives every character a 10 minute task?
No, you need to scroll and collect tasks, and the 24h tasks are varied locations.
There are some buildings that are favoured for 4 or 8h jobs, but even those it’s not everyone.
One thing you could do is make a space and when those 24h jobs are ready move everything so they’re close together and within an IRS blast or three to simplify the taps needed to collect.
Another tip, most characters favour the grey road or KL path, so if you use cobbled roads and concrete and limit where you use grey road or KL path and then leave your characters free for a while they’ll mainly head to those spots to group ’em together
The Office of Unemployment building lets you send multiple characters at once on jobs, including 24-hour jobs. While the Sky Finger monument let’s you collect from all buildings at once, you still have to tap on each character’s completed job.
The employment office can put most characters on a job if you have it, increase the irs building range will enable the tap range to increase.
Thanks everybody. Your answers were basically what I expected. I have only one character that does not have a 24 hour task ( Jay G) and it’s annoying that I have to select that character for the feed his pet goose task every single day. Also, the 10 minutes or so it takes every day to free all 300 characters I have is just starting to get annoying. I’m happy to know there is nothing I can do other than upgrade the IRS and have the sky finger, monument and unemployment office doing their things.

I am enjoying my town of Springfield, but, one problem, I do not seem to have my Friends any more? They have disappeared! Any solution to

Often happens when the game’s been running a while or if your device is busy / low on memory.
If you don’t see your friends when you try to visit just quit and restart and that usually sorts it – your game will have saved when you go to the neighbours bit so don’t worry about just shutting it down.
Maybe this is just an ‘undercover’ add-me request? Unfortunatly it’s against the rules for this open thread.. otherwise I would have told you to add Costello86.. but I’m sorry I can’t 😉
