After watching human politics become even more stupidly divisive on top of things like dogs being allowed in restaurants and the existence of eight-million streaming services, God decides it’s time for a bigger, wetter flood. After Ned and Lisa plead with God to spare them, he agrees to give humanity a second chance — by placing a new Garden of Eden in Springfield and making Homer and Marge the new Adam and Eve. But before Homer even has a chance to completely blow it, Burns and his rich industrialist friends move in and start tearing the place up for its natural resources.

Wow…next act doesn’t start until Friday? They need to either make the acts shorter or give us more to do. I finished the main act questline two days ago and didn’t even play yesterday, as I try to slow roll my way through Homer’s and Marge’s Adam and Eve quests.
Granted, once I get close to finishing each piece of the act, when I’m down to just needing a few items (so only need 2-4 characters’-worth of them) I’ll rush that, so I don’t end up with other event characters having nothing to do or getting event items that will go to waste. Also, I do always get the premium character for each act. I won’t stop doing the latter, but maybe I should stop doing the former?
When 3 taps gets you 145 of 155 and the full set is all in one place and earns 50 … Spending sprinkles make sense.
Think of newer freemium players, with fewer characters to send they might need that time, or if a player starts late / misses days for any reason and can catch up unlike the old grinds where I’d be up through the night to get 6 taps a day in and just make it !!
Oh, yeah… I’m definitely not suggesting going back to the old really tough grind the game used to have (especially when you also had “craftables”)! I remember being away on vacation for a folk festival and worrying about how I was possibly going to get all of the necessary tapping done, especially since the venue didn’t have wifi. Maybe there’s a sweet spot between that and where we are now? But, you’re right…I don’t know how challenging it is for newbies as it is now, and I wouldn’t want to make it too crazy difficult for them.
When I’d levelled up enough to have characters for any group-send and get all the ones with a collect… task concentrating on those I found I could finish a 2 week act with a day or three to spare, but even when I got donut rich and added in the premiums I always struggled to earn for crafting – especially when they added crafting levels so you had to make a heap of unwanted things to get the chance to craft what you did want.
I really miss the squishables, they had a bit of a play a while back but just collect 15…, and neighbour involvement
Given the storyline refers to the myths of the Old Testament, the correct character to use should have been Yahweh, who is the Angry God.

Before this event started, I was down to ~40 donuts.
So, gonna have to farm a LOT of Rat Trap Delivery Trucks…

Either the “show-all” where it just says “Inventory” at the top or try in “Characters”
It took some time but I really start to enjoy this event. Maybe all the cloud items together can finally make something nice. It will cost an insane amount of donuts tho…
Sorry if this is a repost, but I don’t see it pending. Does God have any other benefit over the great % bonus? I have Yahweh and he pays out 7 Donuts per full questline. Just curious. Thx!
Typical pay for a 24h premium task is $$ 1,000 but God’s is $$ 777,777 + bonus
And if your bonus % is say 5,000%, you collect $40million every day.
I never thought G-D was worth it to but ingame, but I snagged Yahweh as soon as he was available way back when

Interesting. I purchased the donuts for the Temptation Snake and it has not appeared. Maybe when the Tree of Knowledge is available?
Check your Inventory, maybe worth looking in the Characters section first ( Homer Icon ). These always go into storage as your game reloads after the purchase but should be instantly available once you find it.
If it’s not there contact your app store for a refund and try again.

If I dont’ need the in-game cash, is “God” worth getting?
He has more than his share of animated tasks that are pretty amusing but I think most Tappers that didn’t get him the first time around just had a bad case of FOMO. I mean, he is God after all.
The God character was what finally drove me from Premium to freemium, so ironically he saved me money.
