Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Question: Blueprints – what are they good for now? Little Lisa’s Recyling Plant keeps generating them (although I generally don’t notice when they’re ready to be “harvested”). But what good are they? I mean, with Smart Devices and stuff like that, there are things you can buy in Springfield Heights. But what good are these blueprints? I understand they have _something_ to do with the Rail Yard, but what? Do they help buy monorail pieces?
Yup, and it cycles through 5 lots of random track bits with the fifth also having donuts

This may seem like a weird question, but how many doughnuts is enough? I’ve been playing for over 10 years and have a large % bonus for xp, and can earn on average over 125 doughnuts a day, and have over 148,500 of them. But I don’t feel I can stop collecting and increasing the number I have, cause my next target is to get over 150k, and I realize that I’m clearly addicted to this, and have no need to keep collecting them.
I have an insane donut count in my main town, but it took years of hard work and I’ve no intention of matching it in my other two games. I can earn thousands of Ds in a day but it’s draining, and have spent thousands of ’em in an event with good repeatables on offer.
If it’s easy to keep it up then keep it up, if it’s hard work cut back.
There’ll be the same limit, just under 4.3 billion, that there is for $$s – but I doubt anyone playing an honest game will even get close to proving that !!
Correction – hitting that limit would take a thousand years of solid farming so no-one ever will reach that !!
it would really depend on your XP percentage in the game I have just under 5246%, 3,898,661,166.00 cash and 179,296 donuts, and when I do any farming.. 525 KKMs at a time. I collect 800 or so of donuts. I still have KKMs to collect later today. Ya.. it would take a while to get to 4billion+ but it will be fun to try,
I just have fun farming and collecting donuts. Fun time had by all.
I can say with 100% certainty that the figure of 1000 years to hit maximum sprinkles is spot on, no matter what your bonus is or how many trucks or KEMs you try and get through.
When I was mid-grind for my target I had 16,600+% and what I earned just from a SkyFinger tap was more than I could spend on trucks and take the time to collect over many hours.
You have more than “enough” (as do I, with “only” 42+K of them), but, if you enjoy collecting them (as I do), then continue on! I still do all of the donut-collecting activities (collecting from donut-producing buildings, sending Yahweh on his cycle, playing Maggie’s game and gathering monorail tracks from the recycling plant, playing Sideshow You, etc, not to mention collecting buildings and tasks.
If you count the donuts from rat trap trucks I buy from the money God earns me every day.. I make around 250 donuts daily… and I still have stuff to buy… so to awnser your question… it’s enough when you think it’s enough… if you have every piece of land and every item you can currently buy… then you don’t ‘need’ more… only want ‘more’. What’s your bonus %? Maybe spend it on the 6 donut mystery boxes for extra XP?
I turned off my collider because collecting donuts was a pain. 10,000 should be enough. You need less than 1000 per main event (4*150, 250). 10,000 should be enough for any mystery box that might have items for you.
I was a little disappointed on the last Simpsons episode. It was very far off not very realistic. I like more bobs burger they base their stories on things that are possible and realistic. Anywho, manage to complete the last act really quickly now that I have tapped out back on my phone. I had to a dollar for added storage on my iPhone. I also completed all the side quests such as Adam homer and eve marge, both angels. Happy today is Sunday waiting for the new Simpsons to watch. So far I like this event, but I can’t get God and the ten commandments to return. They disappeared during his first quest around the time when Act 2 started. Is anyone else having trouble with him and how did you fix it? (I followed the instructions on this site for missing characters).

l just wanted to warn every everyone. If the WGA strike happens, it includes Gaming, especially with the game writers being the same writers from the show (I believe) The rest of this event should be fine, & I would guess the next (mini) event probably is as well. However, I don’t know how far ahead the events are written or how long the strike could last. Eventually, it may affect new content. So, that would mean either events could stop for a while or may EA decides to re rum some older events just to keep the game going in some capacity. This is. of course, besides the effect of everything else you may stream or watch on Television & Movies.
Interesting point! I hadn’t thought of its impact on the game. I have thought that, if it happened, it would give me a chance to catch up on some of the streaming shows I started to watch during the pandemic, when broadcast content ran low. So much to watch and so little time….I feel guilty that I’m almost rooting for a strike! (The operative word being “almost,” as I realize this has serious real-world consequences for people’s livelihoods, which is far more important than my desire for a content break so I can catch up on existing content!)
I was wondering about past events. There have been so many cool ones newer players have missed, will they ever run run them? Which would suck for seasoned players. An optional way of re running a past event would be cool.
let them strike. they lost creativity on movies and shows long long ago… They’ve also lost creativity in tsto events long ago. new format would be cool
So you’d be okay just tapping, with no dialog? Without the writing, this would barely be a Simpsons game! And, while I agree with you that some freshening of the format would be nice, you realize that the writers have nothing to do with that, right?
The strike has nothing to do with increasing or decreasing creativity in movies and tv, unless you think that the potential of using AI in place of some of the writers would fix that. When all of the writers are on strike, the only “creativity” would be what new reality and game shows the tv executives can come up with (and no new movies at all).🙄

Any idea of how many events they are ahead? My uninformed guess is six months.
Call me crazy, but I’m happy about the strike. All these shows with 8 episode “seasons” is annoying. I have no idea what shows even exist anymore or where to find them. People say we are in the golden age of TV. I say the 90s was the golden age of TV (as long as you were white??).
Any news on new items for Cecils Road to Riches?

The last one with the crane I think should be 3 separate items instead of 1 piece.
i would love to see an item added to replace the current bridge to the prospecting area.
That’s a great idea.. a normal bridge so it would not look so strange to see cars and buildings on that side
They (cars, building materials) are delivered by tram through the mountains.
Isn’t that what the tunnels are for?
Yeah.. but that’s the whole point.. you only get 1 tunnel and I use that one to get to Springfield Heights… I want a second one for the prospecting area or as Ry suggested a decend bridge between Heights and Prospecting area. The train is cool.. but I would like it to look plausible that roads and cars are in that area too
No, we were given three new mountain tunnels — red,blue, and yellow. But you’re right that there’s no other way to bridge the area between the original Springfield Heights and the Westward Land Expansion area except the rickety bridge (or cars can go out the Springfield Heights tunnel and drive through regular Springfield to one of the other tunnels).
Highly unlikely any task/event is extended.
