Actually in the game and playing (after dealing with various glitches here and there like everyone else). But now, when I unlock an item, I can’t place it. It shows up empty on my screen with no button to place. So, I’ve just been storing everything in my inventory in hopes of placing them after the event is done
I’d try a re-install ( as long as it’s an account-linked game and not an anonymous town ) and see if that helps, and contact EA Help if it doesn’t – there’s a link in the Help bit in the top menus
I left a comment/question on another page but most of my characters are stuck in Chez Guevara building. Ned Quimby and another that’s required for the new quests. Anyone else have this issue or solution? I rebooted phone, deleted and reinstalled the game. Pls advise thx.

Another glitch now, with Road To Riches. They finally added a last item after Rock and a Hard Place, but it’s locked even if you unlocked everything else! I had my Rock & Hard Place stored, but placing it and finishing Homer’s 8hr job did nothing to unlock the last building. Anyone able to access this?

I don’t have Augustus Redfield, but it doesn’t seem to hinder me. I’m not getting his tasks.
Game may have broken for a while. But I think the fixed the Sound FX glitch where you couldn’t turn off all the sounds. I was playing and realized I didn’t hear anything. I may just have not hit the right spots yet but I think it’s fixed finally

Working for me on the US West Coast and got a 60 donut bonus.
I feel lost I have been able to play the game without any issues. I received a notification and a mini update upon starting the game it said that for our patience while the game was being fixed and I was awarded 60 donuts. Did anyone else received this notification as well?
Anyone who taps before the 22nd will get those free sprinkles.

You may notice in the comments there were some major problems with the servers earlier
The EA servers were down for most of all folks most of the day yesterday, so, when they fixed them and brought the game back up, they gave everyone 60 free donuts for the inconvenience. (It’s surprising you were able to play yesterday, actually.) But enjoy your 60 free sprinkles!
Finally able to login and the game has reset to “dog days” (???), lost a bunch of donuts, cash and XP. After restarting my iPad everything was back, (donuts, cash, XP & event) but all characters were zipping around my Springfield or shaking like crazy and then, crash. Can’t get back in the game. What a mess.
Check the date + time on your device
Might be that glitched and thought it was back when that event was live, but if the date + time are not right for the timezone you’re in it won’t connect to the servers !!
Seems to be working on the East Coast – Massachusetts. Fingers crossed servers are fixed or are at least coming back on bit by bit for us all.
Was able to play at 1pm California time. Hope it stays
Back up but missed all the mini event prelim dialog. Dont even know what happened or if I got any prizes or new jobs. Anyone know what I missed? Thanks for any help you provide
If the dialog didn’t show again it’s done that. Check your task book for something like an orange-ish rocket or a space helmet and it’ll give the tasks for the intro or the prizes depending which one you find

Servers were sorted yesterday, might be your game is stuck in a Bart Loop
Close it completely – head to Recent Apps and usually just swipe it off but depends on device, or find it in Settings and Force Close.
Once it doesn’t show in Recent Apps head to your home screen and start it from the icon, not a notification.
And….we’re back! Phew.

That’s odd… I’m in Massachusetts and the game came back up for me sometime late yesterday (the 18th). I’m thinking the problem just be on your end, but, if you already just did an uninstall/reinstall, I don’t know what to tell you…
