Addicts Bracket Challenge: Best Milestone Episode, Week 7

It was eight years ago, just after the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket was complete that I thought it might be cool to do a The Simpsons Tapped Out bracket. Here we are eight years later, and it’s time for our ninth TSTO Addicts Bracket Battle!

Following a milestone 750th episode to finish off this past season, how much longer The Simpsons will keep going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there have been A LOT of milestone episodes of our favourite family. But which milestone episode has truly been the best? With that in mind, we present to you TSTO Addicts’ The Best Milestone Episode Bracket Battle.

We created a Bracket of 16 milestone episodes from over the past 34 seasons of The Simpsons, starting with episode 1 and continuing to the most recent episode 750.

All 16 milestone episodes will battle each other in four rounds of head-to-head matchups, that we hope produces the most debate in the comments below. Every Saturday over summer, we’ll post that week’s matchups and your votes will determine which milestone episode advances to the next round, until we’ve crowned “The Best Milestone Episode” on Saturday September 2nd.

Quickly, some general housekeeping rules and guidelines:
– 16 milestone episodes were selected, starting with episode 1 and continuing to episode 750.
– Weekly matchups will be posted on Saturday and voting will remain open for over 6 days until noon EDT the following Friday.
– The schedule of matchups is as follows:
o Saturday July 8th – Week 1 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 15th – Week 2 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 22nd – Week 3 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 29th – Week 4 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday August 5th – Week 1 of Round 2 Quarterfinal matchups
o Saturday August 12th – Week 2 of Round 2 Quarterfinal matchups
o Saturday August 19th – The Round 3 Final Four Semifinals matchups
o Saturday August 26th – The Round 4 Championship Finals matchup
o Saturday September 2nd – The winner is unveiled

Episode 100 “Sweet Seymour Skinner’s Baadasssss Song (S05, E19)” (67.7%) defeated Episode 600 “Treehouse of HorrorXXVII (S28, E04)” (32.3%).

Episode 200 “Trash of the Titans (S09,E22)” (83.1%) destroyed Episode 700 “Manger Things (S32,E16)” (16.9%).
