SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE: This site is not for just one person or about just one person, so please keep that in mind when addressing the Addicts or other fellow players. There is ALWAYS a much bigger picture going on than what you may see or think. Your view is limited to just your game play, your devices, your style, etc. So there will be many times that you may not know or understand the OTHER views. It does not make one better than the other, it just means keep an open mind so you can learn and grow by seeing the other sides of things.
KEEP IT PG: We want EVERYONE to be able to access our site and information we provide on it. In order to protect our site from being slapped with a MA or ADULT ONLY content restriction, we will keep and maintain the site to as close to a PG/PG-13 rating as possible. We ask the readers do as well. If you do not follow this, you may find your comments altered and/or deleted.
NO ABUSE: Here at Addicts we allow open dialog. What we will NOT allow is attacks, trolling, vulgarities, racism, or other remarks that will incite hate, flame wars, or abuse towards any readers or any member of the Addicts Team. WORDS DON’T SHOW EMOTIONS: Keep in mind anytime you make a comment that what YOU may find hilarious another may take offensively. Keep this in mind when making any comment. Also, it is a known fact that the emotional state of a persons mind will impact the way they perceive something. This means if you are angry, you may take every comment you read to be angry as well even though it is not intended as such. Same goes if you are happy. Anger will happen. It is a natural occurrence when you have a group of strangers coming together to have discussions, how you react though will be up to you. So take a step back, take a breather, and try again if you are taking something too personal. Think if that person really meant it that way or it it was just a mistake of perception due to the state of mind. Think before you react to a comment. HACK FREE SITE: Here at the Addicts, we will NOT allow any reader to promote, contribute, or help in illegal use and/or activities in regards to the game. In short, NO HACKS ALLOWED. Any reader found violating this will have all comments removed and even as far as banned from the site. It is not only illegal, but a breech of privacy to access another players account unauthorized. We will not allow it.
SPOILER FREE SITE: As we have come to realize after years, this game can change between concept and what is actually released into the game. Due to this, we prefer to wait to release information on ANY content of the game until either it is directly confirmed by EA or live in the game itself. Most of the time, we wait til it goes live. That way we can see how it plays out, how characters are involved, and provide the most accurate and up to date info we can to our players. We ask in return that our readers do NOT post any links to sites not ran by EA that have “spoilers”. Doing so will result in the comment being edited and/or removed.

Short story Long, we like to keep the atmosphere here positive and the discussion open. We strive to have this place be an outlet where everyone can be respectful to one another and we all can laugh, learn, and love to just discuss this silly lil game. We know not everything is perfect. I usually not post too much comments here, but since I started playing TSTO more than a year ago, I found this page and I want to thank to all the team of TSTO addicts, specially Alissa for all the great follow up and posts of the game making the game more enjoyable for all TPTO lovers, an excellent teamwork of all the Addicts (Aliisa, Bunny and Wookie) 🙂

I love this site…but then one person was telling lies..(i was serial tagger etc.trying to hurt me…and he did succeed.in real life we were friends one day and i did accidentally tag his school..i leave immiadtly a apolocise..but he tagged my school and leave messages fom that graffitifree.page that i was serial tagger and ppl should avoid me 🙁 ..im lvl 15 and gathering friends just two days…and becouse of him, i lost five friends…for one mistake 🙁 i was just so sad and nobody seems to believe eventhough the apologice was there too..i never believed that coming here was bad idea.im just wonderin do i have to create new account but remember that guy.maybe im not first new player hes destroyed..definately he is the only one that has accused me and ever will be becouse i noticed my mistake and he is lying things about me. It’s reasons like this that I’m about to just shut down the entire vandalism thread. It’s getting ridiculous.
That’s sad. The vandalism thread is my first stop when I go to make new friends. If I’m vandalized, I check to see if they’ve posted anything. If not, I unfriend and grab someone else. Beyond that, it’s just not worth the emotional energy. While I completely understand your frustration with the ones like this, it’s a shame how a few people are ruining it for the rest of us.
How about instead of shutting it down, don’t APPROVE such hateful comments. That is called cyber bullying. You have an obligation when you run a website. You also have an option whether to approve the comment or not. This is horrible.
Because THIS comment simply said someone was a serial tagger. It did not outright attack them or call them names or provoke hate. It just said that they said someone is a tagger. It’s not our job to verify if what someone saying on the comment thread is accurate or not (especially when it comes to vandalizing). It’s our job to ensure hate and other malicious comments aren’t said. And we DO delete comments like that.
Honestly, I think you’re just overreacting. Read the comments for what they’re actually saying and read our guidelines again.
Wow. You’re grasping at straws. This person clearly stated that they said this person was a serial tagger AND THAT PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID THEM. You think that’s NOT hateful or cyber bullying? They wouldn’t have been able to see those comments had you not approved them. You yourself even said it’s reasons like this that you want to shut down that thread.
OK. I’m done. Clearly whatever I say you’re not going to agree with…so I’m just done. Move on…

So, I have this neighbor that I’m guessing hacked the game. I know it’s wrong to assume, but, he has vehicles placed on roads, which at first I thought no big because I’ve placed grass only on pavement through a clever glitch, but looking around, he has three Homer cars, multiple book burning mobiles which I don’t know if they’re unique or not, the man hole covers, snake logs on river pieces which could have been the clever glitch if not for having seen the other things, and a boat load of items including the Ice Castle and King Winter’s Cave on the water. My game crashed right after. What should I do? I don’t mind the hacking, if that’s what it is, but still.
Also, I’m not trying to promote hacking, I just don’t know what to do about the neighbor, nor do I know where I would put this.
It’s honestly all YOUR personal choice. If you don’t mind them as a neighbor, don’t worry. If it bothers you, unfriend them. Like you said you don’t know them to pass judgment so leave it to EA to police them. You just enjoy the game. 😉

I’m confused. Do my buildings need dollar signs on them so friends can tap them or do I need to keep the dollar signs off ? Also with 50 friends what’s a good number of buildings to make sure friends can always tap me? Thanks
They need dollar signs.
It’s a delicate balance honestly. There’s no set number. When you’re a higher level you can leave all of your buildings untapped and only clear them when they have a handshake (which is what I do). But at lower levels you tend to need the cash…so it’s a delicate balance of clearing and leaving buildings. See how your visits are going from your neighbors and that will help you determine if you need to leave more buildings or if you can clear more.
Oh ya ….I,ve noticed that everyone who got every thing at level 47 on my friends list. Stopped playing. So did about 5 others,,,is that normal? I am only at 31…*****. Or some such number at the end. It’s been so long since I’ve seen that screen I can’t remember. Need more neighbors
