Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It looks like EA is once again breathing a little bit of new life into TSTO and trying something different again! Well…kinda something old, but a different spin on it!

Folks, it looks like episode tie-ins are back!
But in a new way….

We haven’t seen an episode tie-in in TSTO since 2018! After being such a fun part of the game since its inception, it’s really nice to see them make a comeback with the start of Season 33 this weekend!

Now, these episode tie-ins will be a bit different than what we’re traditionally used to…and honestly I’m ok with that! It looks like EA is putting a new spin on things, and an attempt to make it more fun and link it directly to the episodes.

So what’s this all about? Well, let me break down as much as I know so far…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Halloween is back in Springfield! Yes, the water is murky, the screen is slightly darker, monsters and minions are roaming our towns…is there anything better than Halloween in our pocket-sized towns? Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us. And the 2018 Treehouse of Horrors episode is an even better excuse to drop premium content into our games!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Busy update morning in Springfield, huh? For those of you outside of the Americas, I’m sure you appreciated the nice morning start to this update (0800 GMT)…but for those of us in the Americas we were fast asleep when this update hit (or at least we should have been). So many of you are waking up to new content in Springfield…well new and old content. (plus an episode tie-in coming for Sunday’s episode) We’ve got a little Shadow Government event going on. Politics and Stonecutters…what can go wrong?

Before I get into the rundown I want to take a minute to remind ALL of you…this is NOT a political site. We’ll write about what’s in the game but as far as personal commentary from us or from you…it’s not allowed. So let’s all keep things respectful…no matter what side of the aisle (or pond) you’re on. Any comments that cross over that threshold of political opinion will be deleted. Got it? So let’s all respect each other…and each other’s political views.
