This may not be what you want to hear, but the game itself is VERY good at explaining the basic concept of the game (ie how to play, how to move items, and what everything is), so if you’re completely lost with the basics the best advice is for you to PLAY THE GAME. Playing the game is the best way to learn how to do the most basic aspects of the game.

Sorry…but many are “One time only” Premium offerings. Some come back on occasion…but it is pretty random.

Hi everyone, relatively new player here (level 27) and I’m really enjoying the Halloween update, but I’m just wondering if there’s any way to get the monorail now that the event is over? Sorry if it’s a dumb question!
Not that I know of.
I can’t even get on the game, but can get on here it’s telling me I need to free up space, and we r down in New Orleans area and watching Gators, and have had to delete a lot of that, AND still cannot open!! VERY FRUSTRATED to say the least!! What do I need to do besides getting some sleep with this FRUSTRATION???? SLEEPLESS IN LOUISSIANNA!!!😤

You have to know your old one and go through the Origin Desktop Manager to change it. If you do not know it… you will have to contact EA.
My suggestion for new players would be to create squidport sections even if you don’t have anywhere to place them. The time to create them gets longer as you get more and it’s easier to make them and store them than to wait until you have purchased the sections of water to place them on.
Any idea if TS:TO will be coming to Windows Phone? I’m having a great time with FG:TQFS & would love to add another tapping time-sink to my already under-tapchieving life…

Since i’m so new (2nd day now.. You may remember me from other threads already.. Sorry..) hopefully this is the most fitting place to post newbie questions.
Why isn’t there always a handshake when my neighbour taps my buildings? I mean, sometimes there are 2 and the other is hidden behind a $ and I don’t know it’s there until I give up waiting and tap it and the handshake and name jump out. Can I do anything to make all the handshakes show up straight away? I’m trying to be nice and leave things untapped but I still really need the money! Is this related to the fact it only tells me someones visited rarely and way after they’ve left?
The symbol in front of the handshake means that you have double income to collect from it. That’s because when a neighbor taps a building for you it resets the timer for income. So if you don’t go back in say 9 hrs and it’s a 4hr income building..and a neighbor tapped it once for you…and then it had enough time to generate another 4hrs of income…then you’ll get 2 icons. (this doesn’t happen if you forget to collect though. Only if a neighbor taps it for you and it resets)
Unfortunately there’s no way to just make the handshakes appear in front…it’s basically double stacked with a handshake and income.
Is there any way to select all (or most) characters at the same time to assign jobs or do I have to assign them all one by one?
No…1 at a time is the only way unfortunately

Is there a categorized list of items that gives info on each item (buildings and decorations)? I thought I saw it a few times before and now that I actually need it for reference I can’t find it. ~ cmtsarad
In the menus at the top…we have items broken down. With the new level, building prices won’t be updated just yet…but I will get to them. 🙂

What can I do to earn more donuts?
Keep playing the game. They randomly pop out from squishing Rigellians, treat bags, and neighbors visits once you max out on your FP Level.
I’m pretty sure I’m just not looking in the right spot, but I can’t find anything substantial about Sideshow Bob. I know he’s not a playable character, but I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same “bonus” as I am. Every time I visit my Other Springfield, Sideshow Bob consistently appears in the same spot (by the Squidport entrance). I can visit my Other Springfield many times in a 24hr period and he always shows up. It’s a nice bonus, and so I’m wondering if anyone is having the same thing happen to them.
It’s one of those random things. Everyone has that one neighbor that Sideshow always visits. In my other Springfield it’s very RARE that I see him. But i have another friend who’s town he’s always in.
Okay so this is a very opinionated question but if you had 1000 donuts and you could only purchase one thing what would you buy?

I’m unclear on one thing. When a character needs another for a task (like Smithers exercising for Mr. Burns) or the two thugs interrogating a squealer, do you only get the payout for the one character or do you get that same amount from BOTH characters?
Ok so it used to be you’d only get credit for the 1 character. BUT they have been updated at least for Smithers and Mr. Burns. That will pay out double the 1 hr rate (so $140). However, with the interrogate a squealer task I’ve got to double check the files. It appears it only pays out for 1 of them ($70). I’ll double check and let you know 🙂
