The jet engine bike. It’s 10 donuts cheaper than the tire fire and offers the same bonus. PLUS you can win the tire fire in the mystery box…

Should i buy premium items which increase overall percentage of cash/xp or a building which earns cash? Like aztec theatre which earns only cash OR tire fire which gives 2.00% increased xp? Does adding tire fire likes increase our cash too?
I always like adding bonus multiplier items because it increases cash and xp on everything in your town

Go through and see what would make YOU the happiest to have. If it is something there from a Level, it will always be around so you have plenty of time to decide. If it is an Event item, you may want to take a closer peek. Just think of it as this… in 3 months, will YOU still be happy with the purchase?

Do i need to reach a certain level to unlock otto? I have the 120 donuts but i cant find him anywhere??
He should be there once you reach Level 5, at least that’s what it used to be. My D game is Level 12 and he’s in the premium menu.

I think this is great. I’ve gotten the rare Lard Lad three times, but still no News van. I wished I’d waited on Kearny and SVTeen, since I bought before the update to the mystery box.

My 1 question/request, will you guys be updating the premium guide? I just bought some donuts and I really want to spend them efficiently. At 727 donuts, I have a lot of options, I’ve been analyzing like crazy and cant really decide. Literally, brain explosions lol

oh ok. It’s possible…depends on it I get the time to redo them lol. Lots of work go into them and often times my opinion doesn’t change on the items, even with the newer stuff.
Dave, I know my opinion won’t tally with everybody’s but here’s my experience.
I bought a boat load of donuts and bought a few things. Here’s my take on them
Good to bad:
Prof Frink – I love this guy, his sayings and outdoor tasks are great. 10/10
Dr Nick – His quotes are the best in the game 10/10
Duffman – I love Duffman, love everything about him 10/10
Moleman – He’s funny, couldn’t imagine my Springfield without him 10/10
Disco Stu – Great questline, good quotes and good outdoor tasks 9/10
Jasper – Great outdoor tasks and some good quotes 9/10
Barney – has imo the best outdoor task of the lot 9/10
Otto – It’s Otto. And the school bus. 9/10
Bumblebee Man – Hilarious outdoor tasks 8/10
Sideshow Mel – Has a few funny tasks, but a little bit disappointing 7/10
Luann – Has a good questline 6/10
Lampwick – I like the rocket car, but probably wouldn’t buy him if I had my time again 5/10
Manjula – Has an ok questline 5/10
Brandine – Her kids take an absolute age to birth and she doesn’t do a great deal 4/10
Lurleen – OK-ish questline, and good building but apart from that…. 3/10
Akira – He makes bonsais. They’re a bit rubbish. 1/10
Obviously, don’t buy SVT, BHL or Kearney – you’ll get them in a Mystery Box eventually
That’s just my opinion, for example I know some people love Akira. So make your own mind up, but about 3 months on that’s my take on the people I bought. (I haven’t included any limited time items).

HI I now have 256 donuts but I really don’t know what is best to go for as it takes me ages to earn enough money to buy buildings when a task is asked ive only now been able to buy d’amico summer home after atleast 3-4 weeks of daily play any advice on what to get PLEASE.
Your best bet is most likely decorations that pay out a high bonus %. I’m a fan of the nuclear warhead. Also, cop cars are good as well.

have you guys made a list of which items give you money multipliers? Ive been playing since the beginning and some things ive had in storage I have found now add to the multiplier and id like to have them all out.
You are on it…right now…this very same one you are commenting on. As there is a lot of info needed for each item they are all linked separate. Most of the Premiums do offer one. Just tap on the name on the list and you will see. 😉
I purchased something with donuts but didnt place it immediately so how do I find it?
Check your inventory. However, typically you have to place it in order for the purchase to go through.
After holding onto to around 156 donuts, I finally decided to spend them and I’m really mad about that decision. I tried the Homer Buddha twice for luck and…I got two burning bushes. I then opted to get Bumblebee Man so I at least got a premium character, then tried a few more times with the Homer Buddha…picket fences, mystery box (with more decorations), and MORE burning bushes.
This is exactly why I’ve not been happy with TSTO over FGTQFS, they don’t make the enjoyable events as often; but they also really mess you around over the premium stuff, whether it’s constantly turning off the approval about donut spending to the mystery box/Homer Buddha giving out poor quality prizes.
Depending on what their September update is going to be like, I’m on the verge of getting rid of this game because it had been off to a good start, but given how much FGTQFS has proven how inferior this game is, I’m just bored and no longer happy with it. 🙁
Homer Buddha is a risk. You are guaranteed premiums, but at ALL levels. The better wins are a lower percentage possibility.

This is why we strongly caution at all times to use those donuts wisely and save your pink sprinklies as much as you can until something really good comes along and sparks your eyes. Those chance items like Homer Buddha, scratchers, etc…are just that…chance. Play at your own risk. Sorry your payout wasn’t what you wanted.
It’s ok. I’m just annoyed at myself and the game that I allowed myself to think the Homer Buddha would be useful and get something for less. Taught myself a lesson through it, and will be more thoughtful in the future. But whether that will see how things pan out with this game will be another thing, but only time will tell.
Hang in there. I think we all go through it at one time or another. (I still shake my head at my OOPS extra whale purchase. Lol.)

Please be more specific what you mean. I am not sure what your question is here.
Did any of you notice that the Jet Engine Bike now has been downgraded? It used to be a 2.25% bonus (for 30 donuts that was the best value). Now it’s just a 2.0% bonus (still a good value, but I bought it when it was still 2.25%). The Devil float still is 2.5% bonus for 40 donuts, which I think makes it the best value in terms of % bonus for donut. I think these items came out after you made these posts, as at that time the best bonus was 2.0% for 40 donuts (Channel 6 Van, police car, etc.)
Yup, a lot of the posts need to be retooled because of changes. Many of them were done last summer, so they need to be updated a bit. Just waiting for a lull in the game so we can focus on retooling those instead of current updates. 🙂
If they change the bonus payout for something AFTER you purchased it, so you still get the originally advertised bonus payout? It doesn’t seem like it would be fair for them to change the payout bonus for something you purchased under different terms…
When they change things, it impacts everyone. Usuually this is just changing something from freemium to premium earnings. I haven’t seen bonus % change.
Jet Engine Bike is the best from what I can see at the time I’m making this comment, since if you were to buy 3 floats (120 donuts) you’d only get 7.5% but 4 bikes (also 120 donuts) would get you 8%.
I’m looking to get some premium bits, and to that end will be getting some d’nuts but apart from the golden scratcher, which package is the best value donut to real cash wise?
Well the Boatload gives you the lowest cost per donut. But it depends on what you’re looking to purchase premium wise. Generally the best deals come when Gil arrives in Springfield with a discounted donut offer. Last one was in December and if history repeats itself we may see another one in May. But if you can’t wait till then…especially since there’s no guarantee it’s coming…
A boatload of 2400 donuts gives you a cost of $0.04/donut
A store full of 900 donuts gives you a cost of $0.05/donut
A Truckload of 300 gives you a cost of $0.06/donut
A Tray of 132 gives you a cost of $0.07/donut
A Stack of 60 gives you a cost of $0.08/donut
And a Dozen gives you a cost of $0.16/donut

I am in a very big dilemma. I have 67 donuts and I am on level 24 I want to buy something besides a decoration and I can’t afford buildings. I have narrowed it down to three, Kearny, Squeaky Voiced Teen and Hans Moleman. I have all the buildings in Springfield except the Aztec Theater. What should I buy?
I would say to wait on SVT only due to the fact that you may still get him in a mystery box. It is how I got him. Moleman is quite amusing and I like Kearney too. Aztec never was exciting to me…but that is just my opinion.

Well a character with have many tasks that will earn you money faster than a building. Any multiplier involved will help you gain money faster too
Hmm if you’re not concerned about what’s funny etc and just want extra cash and XP, then you might be better off getting premium decorations. The premium decorations add a bonus % to all cash and XP in the game. The best decorations right now are the mini nuclear war head and the channel 6 news van. The warhead is 45 donuts and offers a 2.25% bonus on all cash and xp in the game (meaning if you tap Gulp n Blow to collect rent instead of $100 you’ll earn 102. Channel 6 news van is 40 donuts and offers a 2% bonus on all cash and xp in the game. BUT the benefit to this is it also unlocks another task at Channel 6, Live News Report.
So while a premium character will earn you premium rates (50% more on cash and xp for Jobs/tasks they do)..the decorations will offer a bonus % on ALL cash and XP which in the long term could benefit you more. So even if you send a premium character on the 24hr task (which earns $1000 and 225xp) you’ll only make $1000 and 225 xp every 24hrs. BUT if you have the premium decoration you’ll earn more than that between all of the bonuses you’ll pick up on the buildings and tasks you send characters on.
That’s my opinion anyway. Hope it helps! 🙂
