I’m writing this a day early, because tomorrow I will once again be “under the laser” for cataract surgery Part Deux.
Let’s just admit from the top, that during these very odd and trying times, anything that seems “normal” is a bit of a miracle…especially when the normal is a miracle of science. And, come on…the speed and precision with which cataract surgery takes place is pretty damn miraculous (as well as an amazing light show that took me back to the 1970s..far out, man!).
But, the problem with having “One Old Eye and One New Eye,” is that you spend a lot of time comparing. It’s like so many other things in life. If you spend all of your time looking back at the way things used to be, you can’t appreciate the way things are now. And, contrary to what current events would have you believe, there are plenty of good things that have come out of “this very bad thing.” But, they take perspective…and being able to see that things really are more clear now, even if that reveals cracks in the details.
And, certainly on that list, is the fact that TSTO is still alive…mostly. I guess that is all in the way in which you see things. But, for me…I am lucky enough to see things from two perspectives…at least until tomorrow (which is actually today, or yesterday, depending on when you read this). Continue reading →
Hello hello hello. About a week left of Easter and hopefully the gift box fairies have been kind to you. With all the cool stuff, it’s always my pleasure to write about the items which come in an update. Been long enough, I’m hoping folks have earned the Kang and Kodos topiaries and I figured it was time to tell you just where they come from.
Note from Alissa: Good morning Tappers! We know Level 40 hit yesterday…but we’re also still in the middle of the Easter update. So we’re going to do our best to alternate posts between Easter and Level 40 so those of you that aren’t quite at Level 40 (and those of you that are) and still need help with Easter will still get all of the info as needed. 🙂
Remember Level 40 will be around for the life of TSTO, so there is no need to rush it. BUT the Easter Event will end May 13th, so if you’re looking for prioritize your characters figure Easter should trump Level 40, at least for now. 🙂
Ooooohhhhhh…. Lizards. Two in fact courtesy of the pink egg box. Nothing like some rapacious reptiles to liven up a town. In true Addicts fashion, this WDTCF will focus on these new NPCs and let you know a bit more about Chirpy Boy & Bart, Jr.
Boom goes the fireworks while the candy melts in my mouth and the puppies melt my heart. Woo hoo… new building! Of course, I’m sure you can guess I’m talking about the newest premium building that came with the 2014 TSTO Easter Event. The Fireworks, Candy and Puppy Dog Store.
“Every one, flare your nostrils in olfactory anticipation.”
Hello hello. Wookiee popping in for more WDTCF goodness for all my favorite wabbit whackerinos (or are you more of a zapperino?) This installment is about a premium item which dropped this Easter… the Sumatran Century Flower.
“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!”
In this silly little game we play, there are so many little snippets EA throws in to make us remember fond episodes we’ve seen in our lives. One of the many joys for me writing on this site is talking about them. In that spirit, I thought it’d be fun to point something out you may or may not have noticed. In the past, we;ve had ghost and livers have conversations with the characters in our games, but this Easter event brought us a new one… the shadow.
Seriously laughing my butt off. Why? Well, just today I won the Egg Council Guy in my 21st blue egg box and that’s exactly what Homer said as this NPC joined my Springfield. But I’m sure a lot of you feel just like Homer. Who the heck is this and why is he now in the game? Well, count on the resident walking carpet to fill you in.
Easter is over but a lot of us wabbit whackers and zappers should be finished with the Easter questline or really close and that means it’s about time this Wookiee got around to writing about an item available at the end of the Easter questline… the Fabergé Egg.
Hey there Addicterinos! How are all my favorite wabbit whackers doing?
Easter is upon us and of course with a big event like this, it means lots of new content. You know what that means, right? Yup… more WDTCF fun from your resident writers. For today’s edition, I thought it might be nice to turn our heads away from all the fluffy cotton tail antics and concentrate on an anima near and dear to this fuzzball’s heart… MONKEYS! And not just any monkeys, but helper monkeys. More specifically…. MOJO!
