Thank Grog It’s Firday/Statusday!

Seeing as how Alissa’s musings ended up slipping into Friday from the regular Thursday slot, I thought it would be funny to change the regular salutation.

And then. I started thinking about the kind of week I’ve had since last writing something for TSTO, and realized that “Statusday” is really an appropriate label for the typical American weekend…as well as where we find ourselves in our “silly little game.”

I am not going to open the “Tagging/Not Tagging” can of worms again, but I will once again (and perhaps finally?) put the entire myth of TSTO status to bed without its supper.

The real question to be asked in TSTO (and yes, in life) is, “Does Status Matter?”

Homer’s Chiliad and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s getting hot in Springfield, as the Chiliad mini event has invaded our games for the last week plus bringing several  new items to our pocket sized towns. With all of the new items  added to Tapped Out I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings (especially since this might help you decide what to keep out & what to put into storage).

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Level 60 and the Conform-O-Meter (with Duff Gardens info too!)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 60 arrived in Springfield recently and with it arrived a new character, new building and a couple of decorations…and we saw the end of level updates as we know it!  Of course, as always all those new additions mean conform-o-meter impact…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Of course with the release of Level 60 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are.  So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

Valentine’s 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Valentine’s Day 2016 is officially over in Springfield.  While it wasn’t a huge event, it did still bring a bunch of new buildings and decorations.  And it brought back some items of Valentine’s past…

So now that it’s all over, it seems like the perfect time to share with my favorite Addicted Tappers just how these items impact your Conform-o-Meter rating.

Christmas/Winter 2015 and the Conform-O-Meter

Thanksgiving 2015 and the Conform-O-Meter

Level 58/Every Man’s Dream and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 58 arrived in Springfield recently and with it arrived a couple of characters that are part of Fat Tony’s Mob, Johnny Tightlips and Frankie the Squealer, as well as some new buildings & decorations to help improve our Conform-O-Meters!

In addition we also received the Every Man’s Dream Episode tie-in recently.  With a couple of new items impacting our conform-o-meter (but no changes brought to it via that up, just Level 58).
