Act 2 of the Holiday Whodunnit event consists of 2 new buildings, 1 new facade (plus a bonus facade), 1 new decoration, 1 costume…plus a bonus Mystery Box token.
We’ll cover the decorations/buildings in another post later, but now it’s time to look at the costume on the prize track and the details for Santa Sideshow Bob…

In our games, the snow is falling and TSTO is calling yoo hoo! It’s the most wonderful time of the year Tappers, Christmas in TSTO! Holiday Whodunnit Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 2 we’re tasked with collecting Magnifying Glasses! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 2 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for No Business Like Snow Business…

I just love the look of a fresh blanket of snow covering my pocket-sized town…at least for now. I’ll get sick of it by the time January rolls around…in TSTO and in real life (have I mentioned lately I wanna move to Florida?) Anyway, yes the annual Christmas/holiday event has arrived in Springfield, so what does EA have in store for us? Well, we’ve got a real mystery on our hands! A holiday whodunnit if you will! Poor Santa…
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on January 12th. However, Act 3 will start on December 26th (Note the Sunday start date).
Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between Marge, Wiggum, Lisa, and Herb…
Marge: Now what do we do? We have no evidence, and no suspects.
Wiggum: I have one. *furrows brow* Mr. Snake Jailbird.
Lisa: You’re just profiling him for all his crimes in the past…
Wiggum: What about…Hank Scorpio?
Lisa: I don’t know, he’s on the run in Belize. Plus, he’s a crypto billionaire now — why would he do this?
Wiggum: Fat Tony?
Lisa: Fat Tony loves all things Christmas. He hands out turkeys from his trucks. It’s his favorite holiday.
Herb Tannenbaum: Well, while we think of other people to point fingers at, I could go for a bite to eat.
Lisa: I know of a few good vegetarian places.
Herb Tannenbaum: How about Krusty Burger? I’m in the mood for a nice beefy burger.
Lisa: You…eat meat?
Herb Tannenbaum: Living off chlorophyll sucks — it doesn’t even scratch the surface of the food pyramid. I mean, what category would you put “sun” in anyway?
Lisa: You’re a weird tree, Herb.
Herb Tannenbaum: So, burgers?
Lisa: Sure, they have a good meatless burger now!
Marge: Let’s do it!
This triggers the Act 2 questline, No Business Like Snow Business and is followed by 4hr tasks for Lisa, Marge, and Herb, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (150), and Christmas Trivia. No Business Like Snow Business is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Note: There is a crash issue happening with some devices. This could be related to the amount of space you have on your device, the age of your device, or something else entirely. Just remember, the Christmas event is the LARGEST update each year for TSTO (because they reload every single item in the game with snow), so it requires A LOT of free space on your device. And when I say a lot I mean like 20+ GB…

And this year, marks the 10th…yes the TENTH…Treehouse of Horror update in TSTO. So what does EA have in store for us this year? Dinosaurs! In true Treehouse of Horror spoof style.
