Welcome Addicts to a new addition to our posts. In this little game of ours, we tend to forget those characters that are few and far between. We get so involved in the game, so into the latest events…that we sometimes forget to pay attention to the little things. The little details that make the Springfield world go around. The thing that seems to be really lacking/missing from Springfield.
What exactly is it I am going on about? What is so terribly important to the game that would draw such attention. WOMEN OF COURSE! To be a bit more specific, The Real Housewives of Springfield (and maybe a mistress or 3. Gotta have the drama aspect in any series, right?).
So keep your eyes on our blog as we take you on a new journey into the lives of each of the women currently and NOT currently available in the game.
Time to take another Turbo Tappin’ look at a questline from the Level 37 update, Luann Van Houten. While Luann appeared in the game with the Level 37 update, you don’t actually have to wait until Level 37 to purchase her. In fact she can be purchased once you’ve unlocked Milhouse (Level 7)! Now, let’s turbo tap Luann! Continue reading →
Level 37 is here and with it (finally) comes Luann Van Houten, finally Milhouse isn’t an orphan anymore! I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts On This?” Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding Luann and her crackers to your Springfield.
Character & Building: Luann Van Houten Donut Price: 150 donuts Pros:
-Comes with not 1, not 2 but THREE quests (involving Luann, Edna, Agnes, people of Springfield & Kirk)
-Several outdoor tasks with great animations
-Comes with her own building, Southern Cracker Factory
-Will ride around your Springfield in a MegaGlobe
-Only way to unlock Fleet-A-Pita Trucks for both Springfield and Krustyland
-Cracker Factory increases Indolence rating by 10 points
-Factory is also used, Luann has a permanent task for it.
-Another Female character in TSTO
Cons:
-Pricey. At 150 donuts she’s not the most expensive character and building combo (heck Disco Stu was 180 donuts), but it’s still a high price.
-Not voiced.
-No character interaction after main questline is complete
Final Thought:
Personally, if you have the donuts to spend, I say go for it. EA is giving you a ton of options with this purchase, including the Fleet-A-Pita. While I do think 150 donuts is a steep price, I do think it’s one of the best premium values in the game. So, if you can save up your donuts (or wait for a Gil Sale) because I think Luann and the Southern Cracker Factory are a MUST BUY.
