Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The planes are flying in the air over Springfield but so is love, as Valentine’s Day makes its way into our pocket-sized towns! With tons of Valentine’s Day items from the past returning to our stores, Ol’ Gil managed to sneak in with a new combo tempting us to spend those sprinkles…

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Valentine’s 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Valentine’s Day 2016 is officially over in Springfield.  While it wasn’t a huge event, it did still bring a bunch of new buildings and decorations.  And it brought back some items of Valentine’s past…

So now that it’s all over, it seems like the perfect time to share with my favorite Addicted Tappers just how these items impact your Conform-o-Meter rating.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Valentine’s event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements,  it did bring us a few new items to add to our Springfield.  Let’s take a look at how all of the “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

What a Wookiee Wants: Valentine’s Day 2016

Love is in the air they say… or is it smog? I always get those two mixed up. Is there a love alert today? Do we have to keep the kids indoors? Is Cupid polluting the atmosphere? Even in the middle of a mini-event, I find myself wondering what is coming down the pike in our beloved game. Even after 2 years and 4 months of content, there’s still so much that could be added. Every once in a while, I put on my thinking cap and consider some options. Here’s what a Wookiee wants for VD.  (Not VD lol)

Valentine’s and the Conform-O-Meter

Update February 2015: The Valentine’s Day Event for 2015 added one new item and a bunch of returning items.  The one new item was the Animatronic Bears, and to see how they impact the Conform-O-Meter check out the details on them here.

Can you feeelll the Loooovveee Tonight….ok ok I’ll stop singing!  No one needs to hear it, not even me.  But Love is in the air in Springfield as our games went from the Duff fun of the Super Bowl to the lovey dovey ways of Valentine’s Day.  With new buildings and A LOT of new decorations introduced with the update I thought now would be the perfect time to share with my favorite Addicted Tappers just how these new items will impact your Conform-o-Meter rating.
