Where Did THAT Come From – George Washington

Hey hey hey Addictereenos!

So… once upon a time EA brought us a 4th of July update with some cool stuff. Among it all was the appearance of George Washington and the cherry tree. Being a history nerd/buff/major, I immediately called dibs on writing about him and then never got around to it. Week by week passed without my promised Mad Men of Springfield post.

Well, I won’t bore you with the details of my life/school/procrastination, but the long anticipated (by at least Alissa and Bunny) post is finally done and in yet another case of better late than never, I bring it to you. While this is no Mad Men (unless you’re including me), I will preface this all by saying this character has been voiced in the show by Harry Shearer, Dan Castellaneta and Hank Azaria. If that doesn’t qualify for a little madness, I don’t know what will.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well the 4th of July is now over in Springfield, and I hope you guys managed to get everything you wanted from the update! And now that it’s over it’s time to look at our 3rd, and final, full dialogue walkthrough for the event. The Redux of Rex Banner!

Rex Banner was the freemium 4th of July Character during the 2013 Event & returned as a premium character (for 90 donuts) during 2014. The 2014 questline for Rex (and All-American Apu, if you have him) is basically a repeat of the 2013 quesline, with a few dialogue updates.

Rex’s questline started automatically once 4th of July hit, if you had Rex already or it started after you purchased him and the Nighthawk Diner. We’ve already brought you the Turbo Tappin’ version of this walkthrough, so now it’s time to catch up on what you missed (if you were tapping quickly) or missed out on (if you didn’t make the purchase) with the full dialogue version!

Now, enough stammering from me….let’s find those illegal fireworks with everyone’s favorite hard-nosed cop!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Here we are on the final full day of the 4th of July Event & I think many of you are ready for it to be over! As the event comes to a close we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at the dialogue you may have missed from the event while tapping.

Welcome to another new addition to Addicts, the Mad Men of Springfield. We will be going into depth on the history and background of the male species running around our lil towns as well as those not yet in the game.

Just think about it. What Man living in Springfield is “normal”? Not a single one that I can think of. They all have at least ONE thing wrong with them. Seriously! Think about it. How many issues does Moe have? A Reverend a “little” obsessed with trains? An owner of a Kwik-E-Mart that goes to counseling with the same person that robs him, on a daily basis? Not to mention the “inbreeding” and other strange happenings going on at the farm. Oh the idiosyncrasies.
