Turbo Tappin’ Flanders Family Reunion: Main Questline and Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Flanders have invaded Springfield…hopefully to liven this up a bit! As the Flanders Family Reunion has officially kicked off! What will happen in the new update?  Will Canadian Flanders say one eh to many?  Will Ted Flanders unload all of his Spinich?  Well, you’ll have to read the dialogue to find out!

Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event.  Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all-new prizes…

Flanders Family Reunion Mini-Event is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

If you saw the post from a little earlier you’d know that it’s update date in our Pocket-Sized Springfields!

If you’re having trouble getting the event to start, remember you must FIRST download the update from the App Store.  Although this is a mini-event, you have to download the Game of Games “takedown” update first to see the event.  (basically, your splashscreen should be back to Homer Running from Skyfinger).  If you’ve downloaded the update and you’re still having trouble seeing it, make sure you’re at least at Level 20 (as that’s the requirement), then try hard closing and restarting TSTO.

The Flanders have invaded Springfield…hopefully to liven this up a bit! As the Flanders Family Reunion officially kicks off today!

Things kick off in Springfield with some dialogue between the Flanders’ family (Ned/Nedward/Capri) followed by a 6s task for Ned. Once you complete this you’ll unlock the very first prize of the mini-event! (Reunion Banner) This will be followed by the event launch.  For the first part, you’ll need to complete a 4hr task for Flanders and a task to collect the event currency…you know typical mini-event stuff…

This mini-event ends on July 31st (10am ET, 1400 UTC…at least that’s what the files say)

Update Incoming: Flanders Family Reunion

UPDATE IS LIVE! You will have to download the Game of Game Takedown from the app Store before you see it.  So head to your app stores and check for a Tapped Out Update.
This is not a major event, just a mini-event.  But it does require the app store update to see…basically changes your splash screen back to regular Homer running…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I’m a little behind today, got stuck in a few meetings, but just saw that an update for the Flanders Family Reunion has hit the Game Files.  This means that it’s incoming, but not live yet.  So please don’t panic that you don’t see it in your game…it’s not live yet.

I’m just now getting a chance to run the details and will update as I see appropriate.  We have NOT received an update package from EA, which tells me this is a mini-event.  Also, the fact that the end date is July 31st…

The weird thing is it was supposed to have started already…about 2 hrs ago.  And it’s not live yet, so not sure what’s going on.  But I’ll keep you updated as I learn more…

Update: Some basic info as to what’s incoming…
2 new Buildings
4 new characters (2 premium, 2 non-premium)
3 new decorations
Also, it looks like we may see some donut “deals”
And returning items that are mostly already available in Yearbook Box.

Because I know you’ll ask…I don’t not see the GGR returning with this one.

The Real Moms of Springfield Full Dialogue Walkthrough

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Now that we’re nearing the end of The Real Moms of Springfield mini-event, I thought it would be a great time to take a look back at the dialogue (story-line) that took place over the last two weeks.

Things kick off with Ruth Powers earning a “get out jail free” card for the weekend and trying to stir up trouble with the MOMs of Springfield, and we end with poor Jerri Mackleberry trying to remember which twin is which.  So let’s take a look at all the twists and turns this mini-event had to offer…

Turbo Tappin’ Real Moms of Springfield: Main Questline and Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

After a very long wait, it’s finally update time in our pocket-sized Springfields! The Real Moms of Springfield mini-event made its way into our towns this morning, nothing like celebrating the MOMs of Springfield! What will happen in the new update?  Will Ruth be sent back to prison?  Will Quimby find any long lost children? Will any of this make sense?  Well, you’ll have to read the dialogue to find out!

Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is your typical standard mini-event.  Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.

The Real Moms of Springfield Mini-Event is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Something I haven’t said in 35 days…it’s update day in our Pocket-Sized Springfields!

If you’re having trouble getting the event to start, first make sure you’re at least at Level 15 (as that’s the requirement), then try hard closing and restarting TSTO.  This should be an in-game update, so an automatic download. Nothing else for you to do.  If you’re still not seeing it try uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO.

Yes, if you saw the news yesterday, the Real Moms of Springfield mini-event has arrived in our towns!  Not only do we get a new mini-event, but it appears that this update has also fixed the Amazon zoom issue as well!

Things kick off in Springfield with some dialogue between Ruth and Marge, followed by 6s tasks for each.  This will be followed by more dialogue and the event launch.  For the first part, you’ll need to complete a 4hr task for Marge and collect 150 “Crappy Mother’s Day Gifts”.

This mini-event ends on May 29th (10am ET, 1400 UTC)

Classless Reunion Mini-Event is Nearing the End…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, March 26th) marks the end of the Classless Reunion mini-event!  So,  if you haven’t already, finish up that prize track, purchase your last few premium items, and be prepared to see the mini-event leave our games tomorrow morning! (and hopefully, something new arrives in its place)

A quick note on the Yearbook Mystery Box: I’m not sure if this will be sticking around after the event or not.  There never was an end date in the files for it, and last week they removed the countdown timer associated with it.   I don’t want to tell you it’s sticking around only to have it disappear, and I don’t want to tell you it’s leaving only to have it stick around.  So honestly, I can’t tell you what’s going to happen with it.  You’re going to have to use your best judgment when it comes to going for items in the box…

What are your overall thoughts on the Classless Reunion mini-event?  Have you enjoyed it?  Or did you feel like it was a bit lame?  Where have you placed the prizes? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

P.S. Don’t forget your showoff submissions are due tonight at 8pm ET. Show us your favorite parts of Springfield!

Turbo Tappin’ A Classless Reunion: Main Questline and Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Back to back mini-events in Springfield!  At least we have new content, right?  I think they only thing we can be sure of these days from EA is to expect the unexpected.  I don’t think any of us thought another 2-week mini-event would follow State of Despair, but here we are.  It’s reunion time for Marge, Homer, and the rest of the Springfield High Gang.  What will happen?  Will Homer get his ham?  You’ll have to read the dialogue to find out.

Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is your typical standard mini-event.  Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all new prizes…
