Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s everyone’s (well almost everyone’s) favorite time in TSTO, the annual Treehouse of Horror Event! Yes, Halloween in Springfield has always been big deal in TSTO and this year is no exception! Also always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

The 2020 THOH Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 3 we’re tasked with collecting Forbidden Donuts (mmmm donuts)! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the third part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 3 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Stairway to Hell…

THOH XXXI Act 3 in Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

(sorry guys, I was at church and forgot to preschedule this, so I’m a little late in posting this)

Who’s ready for more firey fun? Act 3 of the THOH XXXI Event has arrived!

Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on November 18th. However, Act 4 will start on November 10th (note the Tuesday start date).

Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between the kids of Bart, Homer and Marge…

Bart: Hi, Mom, I’m home! I got straight A’s again.
Marge: I’m so proud of my little hellion! Say, where’s Lisa?
Bart: She got detention — for like eternity.
Marge: What?! Why?
Bart: I don’t know. I wasn’t really listening. That’s why I got the A+ in Not Really Listening.
Marge: Homer! Get in here!
Homer: Not now! The sports team from our town is playing the sports team from another town and I’m cheering them on for geographic reasons.

This triggers the Act 3 questline, Stairway to Hell, and is followed by a 1hr tasks for Marge and Homer and a 4hr task for Bart, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (175). Stairway to Hell is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Act 3 is slated to start SUNDAY, November 1st. Act 2 (or Act 1 for that matter) isn’t going anywhere, so if you didn’t finish it you’ll still have time to. Look for Act 3 to start around 10am ET (1500 UTC) on SUNDAY. (Don’t forget the US “Falls Back” on Sunday at 2am. So start times move to 10am ET, instead of 11am)
You’ll need Homer and Marge free for the first round of tasks (and those earning event currency). Also, 1 new premium character combo will be released. 150 donuts for the combo.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Who’s ready for more Devilish fun? Act 2 of the THOH XXXI Event has arrived!

Full disclosure guys…I’ve written this a day in advance of Act 2 hitting. I’m relying on EA’s info and the info in the files to put this together (instead of verifying in-game). I’m away today with a family situation, so I’m not able to check directly. If there are any discrepancies I’ll try to clear them up later on. Thanks!

Lisafer: Hellementary School is still school, just with fires, molten lava, and boiling steam.
Hell Kids Crowd: Get a load of the new kid with her fresh–faced, just outta-the-hell-portal attitude!
Lisafer: Relax guys! I’m here to NOT do any work. School is SOOO lame, right?!
Hell Kids Crowd: Oh great. Another one of those too-cool-for-Hell-School types!
