Should I Spend Donuts On the Giant Burning Goat?

Advertisements

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The snow is falling in Springfield and that can only mean it’s Winter time in our pocket sized towns!  And of course it wouldn’t be an event in Springfield without premium items in our stores, just tempting us to spend sprinkles on them!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Giant Burning Goat to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this flaming goat to your Springfield…

Item:  Giant Burning Goat
Donut Price: 45 Donuts
Earns: 2% Bonus on All Cash and XP
Size: 4×7
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100

Leaves Stores when the Event Ends

Pros
-Comes with a questline, followed by Tapping the goat.
-Ok bonus % for donuts spent

Cons
-No task associated with it, although it is animated when tapped

Final Thought
Premium or Premium:
It’s one of those meh items.  If you like it grab it, otherwise pass and save your donuts for something different down the line.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you as a premium player, I’ll likely pass.  Doesn’t really do anything for me. Just remember this is limited-time, so if you’re thinking about grabbing it make sure you do before  it leaves our game on December 30th.

Here’s a look at the Questline that comes with it:

Giant Burning Goat
Homer starts

Homer: You know what we don’t have enough of, in this town?
Marge: Leisure activities for moms and kids?
Bart: Terrorist cells that will accept ten-year-old boys?
Lisa: Social services, decent schools, low-income housing, hope…
Homer: Enormous, flaming monoliths!
Lisa: We actually have a disproportionately large number of flaming buildings in this town, based on the national average.
Tap the Giant Burning Goat
Homer: Isn’t it beautiful?
Lisa: How much gasoline did you put in there?
Homer: A piece of advice from your dad, Lisa. A fire can always be bigger.
