It’s time to take off in Springfield! FINALLY an Airport has been added and the tourists are flocking to Springfield..it’s time to go Around the World in our pocket sized towns!
Act 3, the final Act of the Around the World Event hit our devices this morning and a new act, of course, means a new round of the questline to work our way through. As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 runs until March 7th, and you’ll need Homer & Mayor Quimby to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the second act.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what happens when Springfield goes Brazilian…
We broke down the details behind Norbert’s tasks during Act 1 (which you can find here) but some of you have requested a list for each day’s task with the location to send the character. This way you can better use your plane tickets each day or you can prevent creating an issue with flights not popping up for you.
As we did for Act 2, we’re breaking down each of the tasks for each day for Act 3…
Well, here we are…in the final act of what some are saying is the BEST UPDATE (of the year). I get it. It has been fun…and I think that seeing the world outside of our Springfield’s.
The fact is, it has been pretty darn EAsy to get everything in the first two acts, and from what I’m seeing in the numbers, Act III isn’t going to be any different. Bonuts? That is another story…but I guess we’ll have to see…right?
So… in case you’re new to this post series… we launched a new feature on the site where I do an audio recap of Seasons of The Simpsons plus whatever other stuff comes out of my mouth. Basically it’s all The Simpsons stuff from the weekly podcast I do. With Totbox on a hiatus from the amazing Throwback posts that I’ve come to love, this is my way of keeping some sort of throwback going and while I’ll miss the hilarity that is Totbox covering episodes of the Best. Show. Ever., I like this format. Shoutout to Alissa for even thinking of this amazing example of the power of double dipping. NOTE: Do not double dip Cheetos… not a good example.
In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?
Pack those bags and grab your boarding passes because it’s time to go Around the World with The Simpsons! The Around the World Event is in full swing in our pocket-sized Springfields and that can only mean one thing….all new prize tracks to work our way through!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Japanese Pins () to unlock each prize!
The sixth (and final) Act 2 Prize awarded at 44,540 is the Sumo Stadium (and Sakatumi), because Homer doesn’t have enough people to antagonize in Springfield….
So let’s take a closer look at this sixth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
