Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between the Announcers, Bart, Frink Jr, and their robots…
Rumble Announcers: We know you’ll be excited for this one, folks! Two local contenders meeting for this week’s championship bout on ROBOT RUMBLE! Rumble Announcers: That’s right! It comes down to Professor Frink and Frink Junior’s Smashius Clay versus Bart Simpson’s Chief Knockahomer! Rumble Announcers: I hope they rip each other’s wiring out! Rumble Announcers: And then eat it! Rumble Announcers: Goosebumps! Frink Jr: My dad says we’re going to win because we’re smarter than you! Bart: Your pocket calculator is smarter than I am — but I’m smart enough to get a whole team of nerds to build my robot! Frink Jr: Good glayvin! Smashius Clay: I shall float like a Bluetooth butterfly and sting like a biomimetic bee! Chief KnockaHomer: I’m going to strike you repeatedly in the head with my wooden mallet. From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow! AAAAAAH-AH! Smashius Clay: That is terrifying. Please stop.
This triggers the Act 2 questline, Super Robo Cyber Slam, and is followed by a 4hr task for Bart, Chief Knockahomer, Frink, and Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (155). Super Robo Cyber Slam is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…
Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of Events start. So here’s that separate reminder post…
Act 2 of Rise of the Robots starts tomorrow, Friday April 16th, at 11am ET!
Act 1 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished it you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 2 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline and premium character!
Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 2:
Bart, Chief Knockahomer, Frink and Homer all have tasks (outside of event currency earning tasks) for Part 1 of Act 2.
You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free. As a reminder, they are: Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Ned
Skinner
Wiggum
Frink
Robot Rumble Announcers (New Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 2 (New Premium)
And finally, 1 new premium combo will hit during Act 2. As noted above this character will help earn event currency, and you’ll need 150 donuts for that combo should you wish to purchase it.
And that’s it, all you need to know to start up Act 2 tomorrow!
I’ll be back a little later today with the Act 1 Full Dialogue!
In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?
For this post, let’s tackle a few of the “quick-blip” items that hit our pocket-sized towns during Act 1 of the Rise of the Robots Event. Even though they’re from three different episodes, they’re all just a quick blip in the world of The Simpsons. So, it’s time to examine where The Prodigy Barn, Chocobots, and Bear Robot all come from…don’t blink or you might miss it!
