Should I Spend Donuts on the Returning XMas Trees Slightly or the Toy Workshop Bundle?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There’s nothing quite as beautiful as Springfield in the snow, is there? Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front!  Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with premium items from Christmases past tempting us to spend our sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add XMas Trees Slightly or the Toy Workshop Bundle to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

Item: X Mas Trees Slightly Irregular
Cost:
 20 Donuts
Earns: $90,10xp/4hrs
Previous Post: XMas Trees Slightly Irregular
What Does It Do :
Just a “building”
My Opinion On It Now:
Doesn’t do a whole heck of a lot…BUT it’s from the very first episode of The Simpsons & it’s only 20 donuts. So if you missed out & wished you had it grab it.  Otherwise pass.

Item: Toy Workshop and Bell Bundle
Cost:
 75 Donuts
Earns: $90,10xp/4hrs
Previous Post: Workshop, Elf Bell
What Does It Do :
In 2014 (when these were first released) the workshop served as a hub for daily challenges & the Bell made clearing tasks easier.  However, now they’re just items that basically sit there & look pretty.  (although the workshop does now earn cash/xp $500, 45xp. And I believe Little Helper Ralph has a task there)
My Opinion On It Now:
I’d pass.  I personally think 75 donuts is too steep for this combo.

What are your thoughts on the returning items?  Will you be spending donuts to bring any of these throwbacks to your Springfield?  Why or why not?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
