Should I Spend Donuts on the Capitol Building?

Advertisements

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Christmas is gone but snowy Springfield is still here!   We’ve got an all-new mini- event to work our easy through.   (Politics and Stonecutters, what could go wrong?)  Of course, while the town is still frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with new premium items just tempting us to spend our sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Cons
-Massive building footprint
-Hard to fit in actual Springfield
-No permanent tasks there

Final Thought
Premium:
Another meh building.  It’s visually nice, the animation is great.  But there’s no permanent task there, it’s a massive building…plus the event currency isn’t necessary to complete the event on time.  Personally, I’d pass on this one.

Freemium:
Freemium players should avoid this one.  Complete freemium pass.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I’m passing.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline it comes with….

It’ll Take an Act of Congress
Lisa starts

Lisa: The U.S. Capitol Building?! How is this in Springfield?
George Washington: Is it any less weird than me being here?
Lisa: I guess not. But — no offense — you’re dead. The real Capitol is still being used.
Quimby: I needed to practice inside it before I move onto the big leagues, so I had Professor Frink create an exact replica.
Frink: Pff, “replica”?! This is a real-time transporter! Just hit the button, and you’re in a real Congressional session, with the yea-ing, and the nay-ing, and the filibustering…where the congress-people go on and on and won’t stop it with the talking…and the unnecessary addition of all the extra words…to make their lengthy monologues last even longer in order to obstruct the progress of the legislative assembly–
Lisa: Frink, you annoying genius; you’ve given me an idea!
Make Lisa Transport to the Real Capitol- 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp
Make Frink Filibuster an Anti-Environment Bill 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp
