Should I Spend Donuts on Itchy’s Mine Field?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s event time in Springfield!  With the launch of Itchy and Scratchy Land summer can officially begin for the residents of our pocket-sized towns!  Of course, an all-new event means a new opportunity for EA to add new premium items to our stores!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Itchy’s Mine Field to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this death spot obstacle course to your town…

120  /4hrs, after the event is should earn cash/xp

Pros
-Comes with a short questline
-Earns a decent amount of event currency every 4hrs
-Animated when in use, kid runs through it

Cons
-Expensive
-After questline there are no tasks there (no way to get the animation to work)

Final Thought
Premium:
This is one of those If you like it get it items.  It’s not necessary for the event itself, you should have no issues completing it with regular gameplay without this item.  It’s kind of cool looking, but it is pretty pricey for what it is/does.  So if you like it, get it.  Otherwise, pass.

Freemium:
Freemium players should avoid this one.  Too expensive for what it is/does so don’t fall into the mine trap…

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll be passing.  I don’t care too much about the event currency earning potential. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline it comes with…

Have a Blast! Pt. 1

Milhouse:
