Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Ol’ Gil is back in Springfield! It’s just not an event until Gil gets involved!
Anyway, Gil is back and, as always, he’s got another “deal” for us. What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well, lately he seems to be on a religious kick. First, it was God, then the Patriarch, and now the Beefy Bishop…
So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if this deal is worth the donuts or if you should take a hard pass…
So when you first get into Springfield (well after you’ve launched the event stuff…of course) you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Ol’ Gil can’t be looking scruffy while he’s scroughin’ for opportunities. Gotta stop and crop the top at the barber.
Julio: With you in a sec, sweetheart.
Gil: Whoa, sixty bucks?! How much to just do the sides?
Julio: I am an artiste. You want a Joe Schmo cut, you go to a Joe Schmo barbershop.
Gil: Joe Schmo’s what I’m shottin’ for! Is there anywhere around here like that? Something in the ten dollar range. Five dollars if I offer to sweep up after?
At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…
If you refuse…
Gil: Ah, well. Back to the blood bank. There’s gotta be a pint in ol’ Gil’s carcass somewhere.
If you accept…
Gil: Ol’ Gil’s gonna be lookin’ good for the ladies tonight! All I need now is a swanky bachelor pad. I’ll just hit the appliance store and get me a nice one bedroom thrown-out refrigerator box Ha-cha-cha.
Now real quick…if you refuse the offer will go back in the store. It will be there…
This Deal Ends May 13th (When the event ends)

Final Thought:
As far as Gil’s “deals” go, this is a good one. No extra “Gil Tax” added to this one. I say go for it. He’s a fun character and he’ll help with the event. Pick this one up if you haven’t already…and finally say yes to Ol’ Gil!
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and I already took the deal. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).
Remember, there’s a good chance this may come back in a future Mystery Box. It’s happened a few times now. If you buy it there’s a good chance it’ll come back at a much lower price and you’ll be mad about it, if you don’t buy it and want it there’s always a chance it may not come back. So the gamble is up to you to take…
