Should I Spend Donuts on Disco Stu?

Advertisements

Level 35 is here and with it comes a blast from the 70’s, Disco Stu!  I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts On This?”  Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding Stu to your Springfield.

Character:
Disco Stu
Donut Price: 180 donuts (Yowzer!)
Pros:
-Comes with his own groovy quest line
-Several outdoor tasks, which is great because you can watch him boogie down!
-Comes with his own building, Stu’s Disco
-Will ride around your Springfield in roller-skates
-VOICED, with some REALLY funny sayings!

Cons:
-Pricey.  At 180 donuts he’s one of the more expensive premium characters to come with a building.
-After his quest line he has no other interactions with other characters.
-Some of his lines can, and will, get on your nerves.  All the groovy comments might make you feel like you’re stuck in an episode of “The Brady Bunch”

Final Thought:
Personally I’m a fan of the Disco Stu addition to the game.  I like that he comes with a building, and I believe it’s the first nightclub building in Springfield.  Which just means EA is starting to, finally, branch out and give us some different building options in Springfield.  I do think 180 is a pretty steep price to pay for him, but if you can save your donuts (or wait for a Gil sale!) I think Disco Stu is a must buy!
